Breakfast could be better. Not enough towels in the room.

The location was ideal for our day visit to Le Quesnoy. Staff were welcoming and we enjoyed an evening snack because the restaurant was closed. A very good breakfast, fit for purpose. We were able to store our luggage the following morning after checkout. Overall we enjoyed our one night stay in this historic hotel. Good value for money.

Free parking. Dog allowed. Refrigerator and fan in the room.

Relatively dirty room (bathroom, ceiling). Shabby room with carpet on the wall. Very narrow. Tiny window. Unpleasant smell. Thick and relatively hard pillows. Few electrical outlets. In need of renovation. Poor breakfast with disgusting scrambled eggs.

Quite old rooms but not a big issue

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with ample choice. Location was excellent for rail travel.

the staff ! Big racketeering going on ! They make you book apartment type room on booking dot com but refuse to give you the same room . They sell prebooked rooms in cash on site . They refuse to respect your booking and asked us to go to another hotel after charging us for the full amount. I had to fight for more than an hour to get a lower grade room from what I had booked . we had a baby reached late but the hotel staff didn’t care at all . There is no courtesy whatsoever they are rude and disrespectful.

Excellent location right in front the Valenciennes gare. Easy access and classic look

Rooms and hotel in general are dated. The lift has a mind of its own and it can get bumpy sometimes.
