The location
The misleading photos from booking.com the family room stated what facilities we would have and the bathroom was not the one pictured. The staff were frustrating to deal with and took over an hour to try and get it sorted. The property is super run down and really needs updating we used to love the Rendezvous especially for the location however left really disappointed this time.

The views were incredible. Bed was soft and comfortable. Room felt luxurious. Loved being able to come and go from the parking garage knowing we always had a spot to park in Scarbs.
The light for the bathroom is by the front door which was a little inconvenient.

Great view of sunsets, thunderstorms and beach. Easy walk to Trigg, Hilarys and my family in Scarborough
Close to bus stop, great array of local pubs and restaurants and spoilt for choice with a huge choice of cafes for that early morning latte.
Nothing to dislike. Scarborough is a great vibey destination

Food in the cafe was very good, and the service which we liked as food around area was a bit limited unless you like burgers and Italian.
Parking easy
The chairs and bed were not the comfyest I’ve experienced and the pillows were terrible.thought carpark was abit expensive at $25 a day on top of accomodation price.
The pool area was out of action due to maintenance which was disappointing, but weather was not that kind, so did not matter in the end, I imagine once it’s all done up abit would be very nice place to stay.

Amazing location and great view from the balcony
Shocking at the pool wasn’t available and they said there was maintenance work going on and we were there for five days until no one pay any attention the pool area whatsoever we believe it was more than likely just cost saving and nothing to do with maintenance

Even on a Wednesday night there was so much going on around the area we weren't bored.
Walked around at night time. Area was well lit so we felt very safe.
The room was spacious and very clean. Fantastic views of the ocean and surrounding suburbs.
Breakfast was incredible. So many choices and it was all delicious.
The bed was too firm for me and I didn't sleep well. On the other hand my partner slept extremely well. Best sleep at a hotel he's ever had. He loved the bed.

Everything. Very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with a great hot shower, friendly staff, we had a balcony room with an unreal view of the ocean and surrounds, and the delicious buffet breakfast was amazing.
It’s only temporary but the front is being renovated so the taxi had to drop us off at the back entrance on the beach side so then we had to get our suitcases up the escalator, bit hard for me but all good.

The location, staff, professionalism, view.
The fact that the pool is closed. It was my son’s first time there and the pool was a lot of the reason we booked here to stay. If all facilities aren’t available, there should be a discount on the stay. Also I had a drone that was hovering in my face on the balcony which was odd but no fault of the hotels.

Loud and noisy people next to me. Tired looking building. Called about dirty glassware outside my room from the time I checked in. Was still there the day I was leaving.

It’s tired , needs a paint job, packet moccona is 70s 80 need coffee machines in room, beds average could be much better, that’s how you build a hotel comfortable bed! No dressing gowns, $34.95 to order movies channel per night?????
Non digital TVs pay for bottled water?? Unfortunately not $350.00 dollars worth, I felt it relies too much on the location and scenery!!!!

The pool
The noise from all the night clubs and bars made it impossible to sleep. This was not highlighted in the hotel description. This is a bad misrepresentation of the hotel.

The location. The pool temperature. The parking rate. The staff.
The hotel is old and could really do with some money spent on it. The carpet is coming up in places. Compared to other hotels in the same price range you get much better level of comfort and in room facilities. The air con is noisy and kept turning on and off and waking me all night. I’d rather see this hotel step up and become a proper 5 star hotel. The location needs it.

Good location, clean rooms.
Encountered a member of staff named Elena on two occasions, when checking in and out. Serious attitude problem, not very friendly. Ignored it the first time as thought she might be having a bad day, but following day she still had the same demeanour.

Wardrobe sliding door difficult to operate due to constantly slipping off tracks.

The hotel is located on the beach front right in the heart of the main nightlife strip. Convenient and has great views.
The loudness of the music meant it was impossible to get to sleep until it ended around 1am.

Bed was very hard, quite surprising in this day and age.
