Breakfast was super hot & a varied choice. Location was very central. Staff was all friendly & couldn’t do enough.

Bad WIFI in the room. Breakfast on the 2nd day was very late due to oven malfunction so had to skip it. The personel was friendly.

The net curtains in our bedroom were disgustingly dirty Very old fans in room although functional Tired room and definitely needs an update Stairs creaked badly and the beams were low on the stairs and carpet needed replacing Choice of beers in pub was only average

Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely lovely. Loved the quirkiness of the old building and slightly wonky floors all adds to the character of the building.

Everything was great - from the warm welcome, comfortable nice quality rooms, cosy bar & tasty breakfast.

Parking is somewhat restricted, but they do their best to manage this as efficiently as they can.

The location is fantastic & the room was clean and big. The bathroom is nice. The breakfast is very good too.

A couple of things that if we’re added/changed would have made this visit perfect. Firstly in the bedroom I was in had no curtains so the light from streetlights outside kept the room too bright at night. The biggest issue in the room is the green light above the door (fire exit light) the room was orange & green during the night. I like the room to be pitch black so this made for a not great sleep. Also breakfast. We were asked what time we wanted breakfast & we said 8am. We arrived to our table at exactly 8am but breakfast didn’t arrive until 40 minutes later.. but was nice when it did and it didn’t sour our experience. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend .

despite mentioning it, they are still advertising the room as having bath, which is sole reason booked this hotel. there is no bath. but there is a very bright emergency lighting unit above the door inside the bedroom, was like trying to sleep with the light on.
