Location is great

Had booked twin beds as traveled with my son. Arrived to find a king bed. They advised us to go for a walk until they fixed it then on our return said it couldn’t be changed ( took 30 mins for front staff to explain situation to 3 other staff members)and we’d have to wait in the room till they’d come up and change us to another room within 10 mins. Sat for an hour in room and tried to ring “magic” several times with long waits to be told they’d contact reception. We were tired and wanted a shower and a nap. Eventually after an hour went back downstairs to see staff all just hanging around at an empty desk. Porters hadn’t even been told to come and assist and move us to another room. Nice young man came back to move us ( we weren’t allowed to just get a new key and move ourselves hence the wait). New room had dirty tissues under the bed that were never moved and we didn’t want to touch. Room small and dingey for the price. Very tired hotel. Great position but wouldn’t stay here again sadly.

The staff was absolutely amazing, especially the guys at the valet counter. Super nice and every day they greeted me. Same with the cleaning staff, they were absolutely beautiful. Very accommodating and super friendly! Also the location is convenient - right next to everything. Great to go to Pitt Street, Westfield and Starbucks.

It is grossly overpriced for what it’s worth. There is no good facilities, isn’t family friendly and the only thing to do at Hilton is to sleep. The food was okay, a little small and very expensive. $25 for a bite sized cake, and nothing in the mini fridge. The TV channels kept glitching and the bathroom door + shower was annoying.

The location is excellent, close to everything and the light rail right out the front door.

Buffet breakfast could have offered more variety and not may selections on the TV.

Great location

We booked a corner room weeks out but were given a different room which the manager said “was a close to the corner as we could get you” but still tried to charge us for a corner room.

I was given a very poor room and when I called immediately helped and moved The young person on the phone was exceptional in service and support The door men/concierge should be commended they remembered me and my name I am in corporate travel these things I truly value

The service in the coffee shop the team is over worked that is HIltons fault, the sitting areas of the hotel are open to all non guests or people walking and use as public service area including the toilets

I paid extra for Club access. Afternoon tea very limited choice. Canapés in evening poor selection. Shocked to see people queuing to get many last drinks before 7 pm bar close! Loud talking on mobile phones. This should be banned. So antisocial. Breakfast very poor selection also. And again the shouting conversations on telephones. A thoroughly disappointing experience. I have never experienced this in any club room.

Substandard TV services (In room movies you pay for) come on this it the 2020's !!. I would love to be able to cast netflix like every other 5 star hotel Glass top desks (why do hotels use these) optical mouses do not work on glass top desks...baffling/No Bath in a high level room. The bad means I will stay in hotel that offer this, as a frequent traveller. It is important to be able to relax after a busy day at work and watch my fave shows in my room.

Very smooth check in, room was ready earlier than check in time so I was impressed to receive a phone call that I could go to my room before a medical appointment and my bags had been taken there prior to my arrival. Very peaceful room with good lighting for working and resting. Staff very helpful with any questions, thank you!

The beds. So uncomfortable and bedding don’t suit the season. One bed had a very thing blanket and my child suggest sleep cause they where cold

The lack of accessibility in public areas and bathrooms. Valet parking was too expensive as there was a $30 valet parking sign offer on secure parking sign on the driveway

Bed was good a bit on the hard side. no view from my window (room 4117) I couldn't find a way for some fresh air or reduce the temp.

Location

Small pokey rooms, noise transfer from other rooms both beside and above, noisy air con, overly expensive for what is now just a tourist hotel, bathroom offers no privacy, sink area inadequate and shower floor tiles dangerous

Everything within the hotel was exceptional, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Great TV and amenities. Location is superb. Nice open and welcoming hotel.

The staff are very robotic. I am not an Hilton Honors member, and consequently I will not join if that’s the way they receive guests. A bit abrupt.
