Convenient hotel to see North of Island

The hotel hosted a party with a DJ and very loud music which was heard tbroughout whole of hotel whiich went on till 1am .WE needed to sleep but couldnt..Wont stay here agaim .So this is a warning if you wish to stay here in the future

Nice big room and bathroom, convenient and comfy. Breakfast offers plenty of choice. The restaurant is affordable and meals are generous.

Location: Santana is a bit touristic but not too busy and has some lovely bars and restaurants. Central location for hikes in East. Breakfast was good (eggs, fresh fruit,..).

Rooms were a bit old fashioned.

Everything was fine and I recommend this hotel in Santana . Gr8 People!

Very tasty pastries at the breakfast. A nice view from the balcony. Altogether a cosy countryside feeling during our stay.

Eggs and sausages cold and not tasty.

The reception staff was friendly and efficient and the room was spacious and clean. The massive bed was very comfortable with cozy linens. Easily the best bed we had throughout our stay in Portugal. the attached restaurant was fairly good and the included breakfast was decent continental fare. We would definitely stay here again if we passed through Santana.

Our bedroom was very clean and spacious with plenty of storage space. The beds were very comfortable and our bedroom had a balcony with a lovely view of the mountains. The bathroom was very clean and spacious with towels and toiletries included. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices including wholemeal bread. There is ample parking at the hotel and there is a good restaurant on site serving a wide range of local and international food. The location is very good with the tourist attractions within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Hotel is on a good location, with plenty of space for parking. Hotel has basic swimming pool, and nice terraces.

Our room had very small bathrooms with not enough space for legs while sitting on toilet. Room and bathroom should undergo general full cleaning regularly. Breakfast fast quite broad with horrible coffee and be careful to go early. Stuff do not refill and restock food so you have very limited options later because most of the food is eaten already.

very fiendly and helpful staff, who helped me to solve my issue with car rental, we stayed just 1 night after arrival on Madeira

- Location is convenient as it is located 10' drive from the hike Caldeira Verde

- Rooms were basic and the hotel old fashion - I could hear the person in the room next door was snoring - Breakfast is ok

most restaurants and shops close early,. 9 o’clock not a lot to do at night time

The hotel was very basic but comfortable. The hot tub was not working and the pool was not very clean nor inviting. The town is lovely. Breakfast was also very basic. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Great stay at Hotel O Colmo, fantastic if you want a different kind of adventure in Madeira away from the capital.
