The old property was amazing and full of charm. The front desk gentleman Arnaud was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was really good as well.

Breakfast was ok. I did request and book one double and one twin however we had two doubles. It turned out to be fine but I had to share with a restless twelve year old. The location was perfect very central and in walking distance of everything.

The fact that I booked a twin room and it was a double.

The rooms need a bit of attention, beds are not very comfortable and the bathroom is really not practical as the bath has no screen or curtain so it is impossible not to splash everywhere. Also, it would be nice to have a proper hairdryer instead of that wall mounted one that is rather powerless.

Close to the city centre. The decor is sober.

The member of staff on check in was a little off hand.

Not a lot! The room should no t even have been let as a room with no windows, ridiculously small shower and the room was directly off the breakfast room! Other rooms in the hotel may have. Been better - I don’t know. The staff member with whom I dealt did not really seem interested and had a smirk on her face and just shrugged her shoulders. A disappointing stay after a 450 mile drive and the price bore no relationship to the room and facilities. Highly over-priced.

The room was beautiful and the hotel was full of character.

The breakfast was completely overpriced for a bit of bread and cheese for 15€ per person. Didn’t even have decaf coffee. There was no sound insulation between us and the people in the room above, you could hear them stamping around upstairs.

Very nice room, wonderfully cool (34 degrees outside!!) and the beds were extremely comfortable.

The bathroom - maybe the pokiest small place I've ever had. We did hear when we left that they intend updating (and I trust enlarging) the bathrooms, starting with ours!!
