El personal de noche da buena atención y chica encargada de las habitaciones muy amable.

La habitación es muy vieja, las camas son increíblemente incómodas y las almohadas...sin comentario, la cafetera es de hace 50 años tienes que estar pidiendo cápsulas constantemente en recepción, y por desgracia de ese formato no venden en los supermercados, la ducha normal eso sí el jabón te lo ponen contado uno por cabeza, nos han puesto dos jabones, dos gorros de ducha y dos de crema, muy pobre para mí gusto. El desayuno es deprimente parecen sobras de hecho ni desayuné y eso que estaba pagado, el personal de la cafetería es muy prepotente de hecho me tocó discutir con la camarera varias veces, uno porqué no nos dejaron sentarnos en una mesa para 4 tenía que ser una de 2, y eso que el salón estaba vacío, y dos porqué según ella para un café con leche tenía que ser de olla no de cápsula😔, NO VUELVO.

Booking a night in this property was an informed decision because I read the reviews beforehand. So I wasn’t surprised to see the old carpeting, old furniture, old-looking interior. I loved that hotel is only 3 min by foot to the main shopping street because that was all I was after.

Too expensive for what it’s worth. The breakfast was basic. They brand themselves a 4-star hotel but they the facilities were more like a 2-star hotel.

The location is the best. Walking distance to downtown. The staff (I forgot to ask his name) that is assigned 12/25-12/27 in the afternoon - early evening is very helpful. He booked my cheese fondue restaurant and my ride back to the airport. He made our stay very comfortable.

Excellent staff and nice rooms.

Pretty much everything, the staff couldn’t be nicer, especially the young local girl at reception. Help us with air conditioning in our room and checked in with us everytime we saw her. The breakfast staff really went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They were a highlight! Location is very useful as it’s right around the corner from paradeplatz and the lake is down the road. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my family

Can’t complain personally, maybe just the keys being a bit big and having to leave them at the reception when leaving!

The pillows were very flat and not very comfortable. There was not shower curtain, only a liner, so when we showered it blew inward and stuck to our bodies. Very uncomfortable showers. The to-go breakfast was not great either.

Would have been great if there was a free parking slot offered by the hotel, we had to pay 39 CHF for a day. Otherwise everything was great.

Exactly what we needed after long travel. A very comfortable downtown (business like) hotel that was located close to trams, shops, the old city and the lake foreshore. And with a hearty breakfast. To get around, on a Sunday when nearly everything was shut, we bought a quite cheap 24 hr travel ticket that gave us the ferry to the chocolate factory and all travel in and around the city centre as needed.

Only quibble was a rather dour reception attendant who could not understand that I couldn't receive a text message on my phone (sans international roaming) to access the wifi code..... had to wait until a younger attendant was working to offer a work around. Also, despite having requested a midday check-in when making the booking, and after long travel, the same reception attendant could offer nothing before the official time of 3 p.m.
