Very close to the station. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Comfortable room in the guest house annex. Very good breakfast. Rooms are immaculate.

Location was perfect at the back of Zurich HB and very convenient for strolling around in the city

I stayed in the other building, cross the street, and i wasn’t able to connect the secure wi-fi . The only time i was able to connect is when i am at the reception desk area. Which i also asked the reception. They told me that they have checked and it is working in the building as well, however not convinced with the response

Location was perfect. Next to Hauptbahnhof and bus station (you can buy tours from there), city centre in walk distance. You can check in online and even don’t go to reception desk, but digital keys sometimes didn’t work properly so I asked key. Normal key worked much better. Reception desk located in main building (Fred Hotel), 2 minutes from Fred Guest House. There are coffee machine, so you can drink tea and coffee 24 hours. Also the provided snacks. Breakfast starts 6.30 it’s comfortable time. And breakfast was quite good.

Bed was not comfortable. Good that I booked only one night here. My back hurt after night in this hotel.

Arrived on Xmas eve, hotel upgraded the booking to single room plus which is located at a different building - where the reception is. it is more spacious than what i booked. It seems the owner has several different level hotels, and reception is located at Fred Hotel Zürich Hauptbahnhof. Room is clean and very tidy, location is close to train station, a starbucks next door.

Super freundliches Personal und gute Lage!

Das Personal war äußerst freundlich. Wir konnten ausnahmsweise früher einchecken als geplant. Uns wurde schnell und zuverlässig geholfen. Außerdem hatte man ein Zimmer zentral am HBF, man muss sich aber auf einen Fußweg bis in die Innenstadt einstellen. Nach dem Check Out konnten wir unsere Koffer auch problemlos in einem abgeschlossenen Raum Zwischenlagern.

Leider war das Bett wirklich Steinhart. Durch die Zimmerwände hört man sowohl den ganzen Straßenlärm, als auch Reinigungskräfte und andere Hotelgäste, wirklich sehr laut. Wir konnten aus der Kombination von hartem Bett und Akkustik kaum durchschlafen. Wir waren in einem Zimmer im EG, direkt neben dem Raum der Reinigungskräfte. Morgens um 6 ging das Lautstarke poltern los, außerdem konnten wir unser Zimmer über längere Zeit nicht verlassen, da die Tür der Reinigungskraft unsere blockiert hatte, diese unser rufen aber nicht gehört hatte. Das ist, besonders in ernsten Situationen wie einem Brand, eine absolute Zumutung. Als wir morgens unser Ladekabel aus der Steckdose entfernen wollten, kam uns plötzlich die ganze Vorderseite des Regals entgegen. Außerdem war der Duschvorhang wirklich dreckig mit unschönen braunen Flecken, sowas lässt sich ja wirklich ohne große Kosten austauschen..

Waschbecken zu klein. Sowie die Ablagefläche im Bad ist zu wenig.

Είχε υπερβολική φασαρία από τα δωμάτια και τον διάδρομο, καμία ηχομόνωση. Ήταν σαν να κοιμάμαι με τους διπλανούς.

Great location, just across Zurich HB, and close to the city center. The breakfast was nice, and staff were all accommodating.

The price for 3 nights was really pricey.

A rather impersonal, but extremely practical hotel well suitable for an overnight stay just near the main bus and train terminals. The room was tiny, but well thought out and surprisingly practically furnished.

The location is rather noisy, as is the hotel (even during the night). The hotel didn't have any place where they would let me store my bike, but it turns out there is an enormous monitored underground bike vault in the adjacent train station (storing a bike there costs 3 Eur per night). Reception/front desk as well as breakfast was placed in another building in the same block.

Very convenient to Zurich HB

The space is quite small, no aircon, uneven flooring and small lift.

The room is too small, the washing room is too crowded. There persons, double rooms, add a bad bed.

Convenient to Zurich HB, Museum, city, tourist bus stop.

Room was very warm (we'd expected cooler weather in Zurich). Did have windows and a fan though. Thankfully had one plug that we could use with our travel adaptor. That our stay was brief - could easily have stayed another day to explore more.

Location is perfect near train station. Cosy and clean room with strong air conditioning. Though room is small, it had everything we needed - kettle, hair dryer, complimentary coffee, a rain shower amd TV! Interesting way of unlocking door using phone app. Staff Toni was very helpful and instructions were clear on our day of arrival. Will rebook next time we visit.

The PS4 didnt have any fuctioning games. But we didnt need it anyway. :-)

Very close to the bus stop and Zürich main train station. The lake is about 20 mins east walk. The shopping district is 10 mins walk. The location is what I choose this hotel for and it delivered on that aspect!

It was very close to the station, the rooms were small but comfortable. Everything you could want. Breakfast was very good, the two ladies in the breakfast room were lovely. The reception staff were very good.

the location from the hbf is amazing. it’s just 5 min walk from the station. it is also next to a supermarket and their service is great

the guest house and the hotel are located on separate area. it’s just a few walks away but it would have been nicer if they are located or attached together
