Although situated in the "high street" populated with local bars with associated noise, the room was at the back and very quiet. It was incredibly spacious with a mezzanine floor and sky view bath. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. The local breakfast was of good quality and plentiful. Suggest you book your evening meals in advance as it looked very busy but we did not use it.

You will need to negotiate your own luggage to/from the taxi/railway station, which includes a number of steps.

It was a trip with four adults and two children. I made reserved two rooms, each for two adults and one child. However, the information desk said that only five people had reserved the rooms and they complained about it. I showed them the confirmation indicating that there were two adults and one child per room, but they said that it wasn't clear and the complained twice . check-in and check-out. and she mentioned that many asian people reserve like this..!! I felt like racial discrimination. It was frustrating and made me angry Additionally, the tourist tax fee was charged for six people instead of four adults I just realized after I left the hotel , so I had to went back to refund for two kids taxs Overall, it was an unpleasant experience. the staff's attitude was inappropriate.

One of the best hotels that we stayed at during our Europe trip! Rooms were spacious and very clean! The best breakfast we had! Waffles were incredible, bacon, eggs, yoghurt, cereal and tea and coffee. So many options! Location was a close walking distance to the station, which is helpful for day trips and the Glacier Express. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Only negative was the pillows! Even though we asked for extras they were way too thin. Also note, the beds are two singles.
