The apartments are very close to the city center and just a short walk from a lot of good restaurants. The facilities are clean and quiet. A perfect location for work (as I did), but also for family travel.

The neighbours are some dodgy bars, but nothing that is too disturbing. And safety is not an issue. There is no breakfast possible, so that was a bit of a hassle every morning.

Très bon emplacement (proche d'un arrêt de navette aéroport et proche de Grassmarket et du old town) : nous avons tout fait à pied, et Très confortable pour notre famille de 5 (bon équipement, deux salles de bains, une vraie cuisine). Et le petit nettoyage de l'appartement tous les jours est très appréciable pour les parents ;)

Personnel aux petits soins, accessoires de cuisine (ouvre boîte, tire-bouchon,etc…), quelques pastilles lave-vaisselle et machine à laver, sachet de thé/café offert. Literie confortable et remplacement des serviettes au quotidien si besoin. L’emplacement est à proximité immédiate de la Old Town et de ses points d’intérêt, une offre de restauration et un supermarché également.

Bien que cela reste dans la moyenne locale de la old town et proximité immédiate, le prix est tout de même assez important. Le sol de la salle de bain n’était pas droit et ne semblait pas très qualitatif, assez perturbant. La porte d’entrée de l’appartement avait tendance à faire des bruits à chaque passage dans le couloir (elle avait du jeu dans son logement, cela donnait l’impression que quelqu’un allait l’ouvrir). Honnêtement, les points évoqués sont plutôt des points d’améliorations que des « problèmes ».

Location near the center, but has the 3 main strip clubs next to it, which might not be for everyone. Great beds and a kitchen with appliances. Parking available.

Showerhead couldn't stay upright, and the cleaners forgot to clean our room and change our towels on the first night.

Erg goede locatie in het centrum van de stad en prima appartement/hotelkamer met eigen keuken.

Fijn appartement met goede voorzieningen en goede ligging, vlakbij de Grassmarket. In de buurt zijn ook diverse leuke ontbijt/brunch mogelijkheden.

I’m not one to usually leave reviews but I felt it important to do so as the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. The accommodation was also 5 star and I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of booking here to just BOOK IT!! We stayed here with 3 children and there was more than enough space for us all. We loved the kitchen and even chose to eat in a few nights as the kids loved it so much in there. The residence is located in an ideal central location to everything in Edinburgh. We hope to come back again soon and thank you again to all the team at the Knight Residence.

Spacious apartment, very clean, helpful staff. comfortable bed, daily service if wanted. good heating and could open windows for fresh air. Location easy to get to points of interest walking or by bus.

Some noise at night from street just outside my apartment from late arriving guests or people leaving nearby pubs and bars.

Had troubles with the washing machine/dryer whereas the drying settings were not working. Shower in the ensuite was very difficult to set to the right temperature.

The room was moderne

we stated that we would arrive between half 3 to half 4. we arrived at 4:25 to find no one at the reception so we kept waiting. Eventually I had to call the emergency number because no one was at reception when I got through to them they said they were trying to do their best to see what was going on and where someone was we could hear the phone in the office ringing then the person had rang the mobile that was sitting at the desk that kept ringing it was nearly 5:10 before someone came to reception and I was still on the phone to the emergency number I had called. The guy behind reception had told me that I could hang up the phone-to the person that I was on and he would sort it out in fairness to the person that I had called emergency number to tried her best to help and I was not hanging up the phone until she came back on the line to me and then I explain to her that someone was at reception the guy at reception had explained sorry I was away, trying to checking someone else in . we were sitting there a very long time and getting very annoyed, because at 5 o’clock we had a trip to go on that I had to cancel. This wasn’t a great start to a holiday at all. We then went up to the room and realize that because there was five of us there was no pillows or duvet– at when leaving as our flight was in the evening, we ask her we leave our bags behind reception he said, of course we can we left our bags there. We weren’t ice was our stay OK it was everything all right. all so we had to go back to reception to state-that we are missing one duvet and two pillows for the pull out bed on the couch He said he would bring up the pillows and duvet etc to us when he arrived we said we would make the bed and stuff he left there was no pillows I couldn’t go out to reception anymore so when I passed reception he asked is everything OK? I said you forgot the pillows and he rolled his eyes up.

parking a little hard to find, make sure you follow instructions carefully. If anything it’s too comfortable and you want to stay in, instead of exploring Edinburgh
