Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Man ist fußläufig in 10-15 Minuten in der Innenstadt (Victoria Street, Grassmarket, Royal Mile, etc.). Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Ausstattung in der Küche jedoch etwas spärlich. Das Frühstück lief etwas chaotisch ab, war aber sehr gut und das Angebot vielfältig. Das Personal war freundlich, man hatte zwar das Gefühl, dass einige davon erst seit kurzem dort arbeiten, aber sie waren sehr bemüht. Der Gemeinschaftsbereich ist nett gestaltet, es gibt von Brettspielen über Billardtische und Bücher alles um sich zu beschäftigen.

Wir waren nur 3 Tage da, weshalb wir nicht extra Dinge wie Müllsäcke, Putzlappen oder dergleichen kaufen wollten und davon gab es vor Ort leider nichts. Es wäre schön, wenn das zumindest in kleinen Mengen zur Grundausstattung hinzugefügt werden könnte.

Nikt nie sprząta pokoju. Oszukany opis na stronie: brak żelazka i deski do prasowania. W szafie brak wieszaków. Śniadania bardzo kiepskie, w minimalnych ilościach, o 8:45 często chleba brakowało. Poza tym w kuchni i miejscu do jedzenia brudno. Talerze na stole są mokre, sztućce mokre, niedomyte z resztkami jedzenia. Talerze, kubki i sztućce są na bieżąco płukane a tylko nie liczne myte w zmywarce. Personel z kuchni nie miły, pomimo próśb nawet nie podał ręczników do po wycierania mokrych naczyń.

Rooms weren’t clean and the bed is too small. No ventilation in rooms. Breakfast service was terrible and the variety and quality was really poor.

The room was very basic for the price. The bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom needs maintenance.

The room was spacious and quiet. From the eight floor we also had a beautiful view of the canal. Shower was good with good lighting.

Room was not cleaned. I found hair and debris in the drawers. Lamp on the desk was dusty. Upon arrival there was a distinctive smell of burnt milk in the kitchenette. The larger drape was hanging missing a couple of hooks. My husband fixed it with some effort. Bed was small, uncomfortable and noisy. In the bathroom the sink was super small and the toilet flush took ages to become quiet after flushing. Light on the bed was only on one side and it was minimal. We moved the desk lamp to the side of the bed that was missing a lamp Choices at breakfast were minimal. No eggs. Bananas and apples for fruit. Since the hotel is run by students every morning flatware and napkins were in different locations. To find them you needed to go on a treasure hunt. We also didn't like the long walk to get to the room passing by a common aerea that looks like a study room where we also had our breakfast. The structure is in fact a student dorm rather than a hotel. Quite nice as a dorm. Quite poor as a hotel. One need to use keys to access the elevator. What a bummer!

The staff were lovely and accommodating. Free breakfast was handy, and it was walkable/busable to anywhere in Edinburgh. Media options and WiFi was good also

The room wasn't completely clean (floor and bed). The bed wasn't very comfortable and the room was very bland in comparison to the images

The room had no air conditioning and was really really hot, the accommodation was okay but very expensive for what it included
