The hotel is well located for the city and the nearby car park, though not part of the hotel, is extremely reasonably priced. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean. Basically, this hotel is a reasonable choice if the negatives do not bother you.

The main issue is the train tracks which are very close to the hotel with trains going past regularly. The sound proofing is not so great so we were woken up several times during the night. There was no air conditioning in our room but because of the trains, we could not open the window to get relief from the heat. It is a pretty basic hotel but in our view was over priced though that may have been due to our booking late.

Breakfast at Victoria Hotel was always the highlitght of the day. Amazing start to the day with such an amazing Breakfast: high its high quality menu and friendly Breakfast service from staff. With reference to the location of Victoria Hotel, I must say it is absolutely idyllic located at the heart of Hamar city within short walking distance from the train station and bus station and everything else around is at hand. The room was cozy considering it was a single bedroom and they have made the most of every space. My room had a lovely view over the Mjosa lake and that itself was priceles, despite the rainy days. But I have made Victoria Hotel my second home as I travel frequently to Hamar all the way from sunny Gran Canaria. Honestly, I would not change Victoria Hotel for any other hotels in the area, precisely because of its location, comfort, and extraordinary guest service. All staff are very friendly and welcomuing. I appreciate the small details - Victoria Hotel always lives up to my expectations. In short: Victoria Hotel is always my first, second and third choice.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about Victoria Hotel as it already feels like home to me. I have no complaint whatsoever. Maybe the during the last stay it was a bit pricey due to High Season and the fact that every hotel in the area were also fully booked.

Room was very small, not place to open a stuitcase, breakfast excellent and location TOP too.

It was close to the train station so not far to walk

There was not enough toilet paper in the room and did not realize till the wrong time. I paid extra to have a business room and the room was the same as all other rooms, not as advertised on booking.com (so what did I pay for ?). I did not sleep as there was loud music till 3 am then bottles crashing till 430am. All in all the worst experience I have had and not worth the money.

The room was really small.

The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and big. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, a lot of alternatives and very tasty foods.

People were talking very loud in the hallway outside our room at midnight. We woke up because of this and struggled to sleep again. The room was a little dusty.
