Beautiful rose garden, 2 pools, nice grounds

Holes in bathroom door, dirty walls, ants inside, no wardrobe or closet, poorly equipped kitchen (blunt knives, no wine bottle opener), chaotic cleaning routine (random used towels left around from previous guests, extra pillowcases put inside my suitcase!), reception staff not friendly or helpful.

Breakfast was excellent.

Bed/mattress was not very comfortabel.

A great location for exploring the north coast. Handy to have the privacy of your own little apartment. Staff were all very helpful. Breakfast down the road in the tea shop was a nice start to each day.

The floors were sticky and not cleaned daily. We had to wear shoes indoors as it was not possible to go barefoot. The bed was two single beds pushed together, each separately made. The duvet was in between two sheets, but not enclosed. So if you untuck the bed it all falls apart.

Nice place in the middle of nature and rose garden. Only in the winter time (January-February) there are not much blossoms and it could be very cold. So if you rent the villa at winter time consider that it can be cold inside the house and the bed sheets may be damp. So after one night there you might get warmer accomodation in studio. Which means the staff is very helpful and understanding. There are enough free parking places.

Breakfast is served in a restaurant on the same street. This in itself is not a problem at all, but if it's below 10 degrees outside, the restaurant is so cold that you can't take off your down jacket and scrambled eggs cool down on cold plates before you get to the table. At the same time, the breakfast is very rich, especially the fruit selection.

Excellent location, very well created holiday homes. Well maintained environment to provide a relaxing and peaceful holiday environment, especially for families.

No washing machine, no oven for baking, mattresses were hard, walls and ceilings not cleaned properly allowing for cobwebs to form.

Nice staff, pretty garden, free parking.

Mold on the walls and curtains, therefore unpleasant smell. Ants in the houses. And last night some equipment started to beep and could not be stopped.

Breakfast is very good - it is offsite in a very quaint "Tea House"

They have a traditional older accomodation and a newer modern one. Having stayed in both, I must say that I prefer the modern. However, the traditional accomodation is in cute little cottages with a fireplace. Really cozy

We loved the beautiful gardens and the balconies in each until. The staff is excellent and very accommodating.

Only one thing- the internet dropped a lot. This is probably not a problem for people on vacation but for people who need the internet for work, you need to stay somewhere else.

to be honest nothing after horrible nite spend in the apartments with damp and ants.

I booked this apartment with the sea view for 2 nights January 2-4 2023 we manage to stay only one night because in the room is big damps on the walls,light cover,behind TV,begind bed,curtains And horrible smell. When we realized about that bad damp smell reception were closed so we had No chance to change the room just stay till the morning And wait for reception to open. The smell was so bad so we sleept all nite with a bit of door open to get some fresh air And When we woke up in the morning we felt sick from the damp smell, ants was coming from the ceilings in to the room And spread every where around our food.Then I went to reception to explain about the damp in apartments and what a horrible nite we had,receptionist wasnt kind and event didnt come to look to the room or to Find quick alternative just sed maybe she can change room if any spare one will have but I had a bad feeling then other room will have the same isue and I dont want to stay at that place any more because of the bad experience already after first nite. The managment was so rude they didnt except them fault for the nithmare we had and refuse to refund the money around €90 for the second nite we didnt stayed. I had to leave the property and Find new room to stay for the nite. Just be very carefull if you travel there…when you booking check room before making payment adavise you will get in the same trap and no refund will be acceptable.

Friendly staff. Lovely quiet location. Large en suite room and bathroom with nice complimentary toiletries. Great walk-in shower. Spacious wardrobe for hanging clothes. Nice community reception area for lounging. Great vintage foosball table. Huge variety of Continental buffet breakfast offered in the restaurant down the road. Large free car park. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it. They have their own water purifying system for the whole complex. Good WiFi.

Requested double bed was actually twins pushed together which kept shifting apart. Access to our room 104 needs better lighting as we were at the edge of the complex. We didn't have water for 8 hours due to a burst water pipe in the morning which was attended to immediately and fixed by the time we returned in the evening. Obviously these things happen, but we weren't offered any alternative solutions for cleansing, eg. water bottles. We had to go to the restaurant down the road to wash.

We loved the quaint individual villas surrounded by nature. Staff were friendly & very accommodating. They prepared us a breakfast hamper for the morning we were out early which we were greatful for. The property is breathtakingly beautiful. Laying in the hammock with a blanket, book and coffee while listening to the birds singing was so relaxing. I highly recommend checking out the grounds. If your looking for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature this is for you. Breakfast was also excellent

Logs provided for fire in villas were wet so unable to get fire going. Villas are cold in the evening

to me it was a half way station on my journey to heaven ( hopefully!)

It was the place hotel during our week long stay in Madeira. We mostly stayed at Funchal but after staying here, wish we had booked more nights. Rose Garden is. beautiful. The view is amazing. Breakfast wonderful. Really loved everything.
