The owners were great , nothing was too.much trouble ,the location was great, Tania gave us ideas of places to visit even when the weather was not great . the rooms.were modern comfortable and spotlessly clean . We will definitely stay again .

Nothing we had a great stay

If your looking for something a little special then this is it. The surroundings and facilities and hosts are amazing. It’s those little things like the quality linen, the spa and pool, the location and bird life, the breakfast. One of those stops that make you kick yourself that it’s only one night. Honestly one of the best stays we’ve had.

If you like to mix it up for breakfast from the cleverly designed breakfast menu then you have come to the right place. We really enjoyed the a la carte model of having the breakfast brought directly to the bedroom which is a great opportunity for a chat and catch up with what’s happening locally. The gardens are beautifully mature and well set out - plenty to see for us gardening nerds! We just loved watching the Tuis, Blackbirds, Kereru and Grey Warblers as well as many other delightful birds of a feather. We don’t see many of these from our 22 floor of our apartment block in downtown Seoul, but we know that Kerikeri is where we want to be. The spa tub was used every night and a welcome visit from our busy days out. Fluffy robes, slippers, eco toiletries and a great selection of teas to brew were welcome additions.

We are tea nerds so when asked if we could have a pot of tea each for breakfast, it was an easy fix for Tania. Nothing was too much trouble. Tea cups in the bedroom, whilst lovely in themselves, were not quite big enough for us tea guzzlers so next time we might bring our own tea mugs (there is already a next time booked!). This is not a ‘What didn’t you like’ comment, rather an observation if you like a nice big mug of tea in he morning.

Warm hospitality, very clean , quiet, and comfortable. Lovely hot jacuzzi, and beautiful and well kept garden.

Garden & pool (straight off the deck) really made it for us, plus a visit from Jack the cat & Whittackers chocolate! Easy access for airport, quiet & peaceful location. Nothing too much trouble for hosts, they even did a load of washing for us.

The room was absolutely spotlessly clean. We stayed in the Takahe Suite which is very spacious with a huge bathroom. Everything you could possibly want was provided, and Tania and Troy were only too happy to help with anything needed. The breakfasts were phenomenal, as reported by many other guest reviewers. That’s a word that’s often overused, but entirely appropriate to describe the home made muesli/granola, the homemade berry compote, the delicious local bacon……

spacious room, nicely furnished and a comfortable bed with a beautiful bathroom and shower. what more can you ask for. The room looked out onto tropical gardens with a saltwater swimming pool and hot tub. The breakfast was possibly one of the best I have ever enjoyed so fresh and tasty.
