Palazzo vecchio e fatiscente. Staff inesistente. Camera sporca, con armadi rotti, rumorosa e calda. Pessimo

Sicuramente la posizione a due passi dal centro di Basilea. La camera era grande e mi è sembrata pulita.

L’assenza totale di personale. Quando siamo entrati in camera non c’era sapone da nessuna parte, nè per lavarsi le mani nè per la doccia. Inoltre, la mattina della partenza volevamo prendere un caffè in struttura ma la area colazione era sporca e priva di bicchieri di carta da poter utilizzare.

Self Check-in için talimatlar çok açık ve anlaşılır. Tesisin içerisinde lobi de ücretsiz kahve ve çay var. Tesis çok temizdi. Gerçekten içeridealışan olmaması bir eksiklik yaratmıyor.

Prizler N veya J tipi. Normal Avrupa standartlarında F tipi fişli bir makineniz varsa şarj edemezsiniz. Ancak telefon şarj cihazları uyuyor.

straight-forward budget accommodation, no frills, good location.

self check-in has a few kinks, could be smoother… lots of mails with codes, in the end I still had to message support and wait for them to tell me my room number. other people had even more trouble getting in, we all helped each other out putting the puzzle pieces together though. The walls are paper-thin, woke up from my neighbors alarm, not mine 🤣

The location was good. The offered reusable bottles were a nice touch. The size of the room as good.

The room was too hot, no Air conditioning just a fan, the window was half opened. Internet was not working, check out / check in tablet wasn’t working the day we left. Not one person in the whole hotel to help if there is a problem. The room was not clean. Not functional at all. Couldn’t use my own hair dryer as the plugs were not wide enough. No mirrors except a small one in the bathroom. Too expensive for what it is unfortunately. The pillows were too soft. Just 2 in the room. No extra pillow. Couldn’t sleep at all because of the heat!

It is nice that there was a lift.

Where to start? The decor was outdated and in places falling apart. The lamp in the room is not plugged in by default. There are no plugs by the bed and not even a proper bedside table. The shower is extremely old and clearly has problems with limescale. The walls are paper thin and you can hear other people talking. When people come through the door from the stairwell it sounds like they have opened the door to your room. Coffee in the lobby is not free. The room is tiny, the bed is uncomfortable, and the view is bad. On top of all this, since booking the hotel, I have been contacted multiple times by scammers through email and by WhatsApp. This has never happened to me through booking.com before, and although it is unclear whether this is the fault of booking.com or the hotel, it may be possible that they leaked my private details and breached data protection laws. I would also like to accuse them of false advertising, the photos of the rooms do too much justice to the reality you are confronted with upon arrival. The contrast was so stark between the photos on the website and the real room that I was actually shocked and immediately felt scammed. I have added some photos of the real standard of the rooms, so that other travellers can avoid this place.
