location was lovely. Rather busy as had a wedding. I had booked 2 rooms and we were other ends of the hotel. was not very impressed by that. and was told that as they were full she could do nothing. Not very helpful. clearly wedding booking had priority. Breakfasts was lovely and so were all the morning restaurant team. Lots of parking.

I am just glad the weather was good as would have got very wet trooping across the car park to breakfast.!

Attention of the staff. They always manage to give us the room we request. It created an issue due to the boiler for the hot water not firing but a solution was found and all the staff were great.

No complaints over anything. We have previously mentioned room 53 would have room for a sofa but do understand all the rooms are similarly furnished.

Good location, lively surroundings. clean rooms and great drinking facilities in the room. The food we had in the evening was very good but the menu was slightly limited for choice

wifi was poor - guest should been able to connect to secured internet - so did not use the hotel wifi because of this.

Room was spacious, comfortable and nice view from window. Plenty of room to park. Very quiet. Staff very helpful. Breakfast and dinner good.

We paid far more for our room than the price that was available nearer our arrival date. Dinner prices were too high and there was insufficient choice. We dined on two occasions when we were the only people in the restaurant so quite eerie - a bit like Hotel California! Long trek to our room easy to get lost!

The bathroom was in a bad state, The wash basin was cracked, The shower head was clogged up, the riser was loose with parts missing. There was black mould around the shower door frame and elsewhere.

bath water was brown cold tap in sink was hot very musty smell run down room dirty taps walls where luggage holder was was all dirty scratched chunks out the wall, noisy awful that was locked at 11.00 had to clamber about find our way through side gate in mud in my nice shoes to get to the chalets outside. and I thought it advertised a gym staff seemed disinterested didn’t even ask if we enjoyed stay how was everything. was very pricey £89 for nothing we stay in lots of hotels this was poor.

no tv,replacement room carpet dirty, very small no way worth what we were charged for our stay.Basic evening meal only if they had it. One of the meals on the menu was LAMB STEW. sort of meal you would get at cafe??? not a hotel? (i have a copy of the menu)very unhappy about this that is why 3we only stayed 1 night not 2. Rebate expected? The hotel could have informed us of the problems they had before we arrived then we could have cancelled.

We had booked our room a long time before and was told Because I was disabled I would have a ground floor room Near the dining area. We were given one a long way from Reception my husband had to go back home and fetch My Walker I complained and they moved us but it ruined my husbands birthday.

I wouldn’t stop there again.

only one key for the building entrance yet there were 3 of us so it was difficult to work around the key

finishing breakfast by 9. ok for workers but we was not in a rush so breakfast and check out was a little early. would be good if breakfast was up to 10 and checkout at 11.

Saturday night table waiting staff not up to a reasonable standard. Looked like temporary untrained staff brought in to handle excess customers caused by a function in another part of the hotel.
