Regularly stay at the Honest Lawyer with my Collie. The staff are great, not only efficient but friendly and welcoming too. Rooms are always very clean and comfortable and the food is really good in the bar/restaurant. A great place to stay.

The heating was off when we arrived and I didn't see it was off for sometime. The bedside lights were both unplugged.

Breakfast was exceptional and staff were lovely. Had a good stay and the staff looked after us well- especially in view of the fact we were staying for a family funeral. The hotel provided an excellent " wake" for us- so thank you.

My door lock- number 18- didn't work properly so the cleaning lady asked the Handyman to change it which he did- so problem fixed- thank you.

The external room was great - parked outside the door - no long walk to my room. Quiet and comfortable. Shower was high pressure. All the things you want whilst away on business.

Very near to a busy main road so room was quite noisy.

great for my stay as could take my dog whose allowed in bar areas just not restaurant. could have dog with me for all meals. couple of good walks nearby and nice waterfall. nowhere else walkable you can go to eat but food pretty good and reasonably priced will go back the roast dinner on Sunday was amazing my fav meal also areas to walk dog next to car park with dog bins when you don’t want to go further afield nice rooms

no other restaurants walkable if you fancy a change
