All is perfect

The proximity to the beach is fabulous. Absolutely wonderful location. The resort is huge and has great restaurants plus busy with many travelers.

Well how much ever we tried to like our stay there and try not to spoil our mood by the following points (we survived and didn’t get angry) but will share our problems in hope that you will take it for improvement. 1- the first thing we noticed was heavy cow dung odor which could be manure in the garden. That smell stayed and dominated the stay ;(( 2- the property isn’t new and hence the old property has it’s worn out feel. 3- the aircon took a while to cool and we had to call the staff to fix it. ( for tourists this all Kills time. 4- the breakfast experience on second day of our stay was terrible. The resort had an event going on the previous night and probably it was some state bank of india event hence they had moved our group of 4 to a make shift place where food and service was pathetic. I can fill an essay criticizing about each item like the idlis were dry and the waiter pointed us to take a pre made tea from dispenser etc etc etc( this was out last breakfast before 4 of us were separating as this was our reunion after 6 years). The previous day the chef had promised us an all Goan breakfast which he had prepared too but WHAT pathetic front office/ serving staff they didn’t listen to me because I had promised myself to not lose temper and my learning is if you don’t shout people don’t listen but why??? You should set a team and inquire such behavior is not expected and can ruin someone’s holiday!!!!!

Breakfast spread were repetitive. No signal..struggled for communication..very poor wifi.

Some of the staff was very kind specially Geeta and Ashita. It was on the beach so beach walks were pleasant. Environment of the resort was good with happy vibes. We enjoyed swimming time in pools.

The rooms weren't exciting for a 5 star property. They put twin bed together for us but they were extremely uneven heights, aircon didn't work for one day. Cats roaming in food area tried to keep eating scraps and it wasn't the most pleasant experience while eating dinner.

Everything else - poor service, poor cleanliness of the room, extremely poor response for any services asked. They are just ruining Novotel brand name.

Amazing experience - The room was large and very comfortable with a balcony. Although it was a resort with the cottages spread out the housekeeping was very fast even at 11 at night. Very friendly and service with a smile. While the check-in and check out was ok the experience with the restaurant and the room service/housekeeping is what made the difference especially when one is travelling with family, the hotel aced it in that dept. We went to their Italian restaurant - exceptional food ... Must try. The spread for breakfast is truly exceptional - We have travelled to many resorts around the world - I would rank this in the top 3 we have stayed in.

There was nothing negative that stood out as what we wanted they provided and that too very fast.

Very well laid out property, amazing landscaping with lots of greenery and spots to relax in. 2 pools, spotlessly clean beach and lots of restaurants right outside (Robins Ark is our fav). Handy games room for the kids too

Check in and check out were both very slow and tedious. had to wait over an hour at check in eventhough we arrived after 3pm, there was only one person working. Housekeeping and restaurant service is also disappointing, large number of trainees / seasonal workers seem to make up the teams....

There was no wifi in the room (frangipani square). The dinner buffee didnt justify the price. We were charged double the price for the taxi (the taxi who brought us took 1500 and the hotel's taxi 3000)

Good breakfast. Egg counter was excellent.
