First time was a bit of an adventure.

Directions on each floor for the facilities.

Rooms are a great size. Breakfast was good and the restaurant is nice.

I was disappointed that my room looked nothing like the pictures on the website. I soon realised the rooms on the website are refurbished and mine wasn’t, I asked to view the refurbished room (I’m an event manager and travel agent), they said they wouldn’t be at hotel when I could do a show round. Room service was okay, but if you get dessert the icecream is melted before it gets to you. Also there was a Coventry game on when I stayed which I wasn’t aware of and I was placed in a room opposite the pitch view rooms that had people in, doors were kept open so it was quite noisy.

The stay at the doubletree was brilliant from start to finish. When we arrived we were welcomed with a complimentary cookie. The staff during check in were helpful and polite and we were offered complimentary car parking. We stayed in the water suite which was absolutely beautiful, no faults at all! The breakfast was amazing and was only £20 for two adults! With a large selection of items and staff re-filling the items regularly. Check out was originally 11am but we called reception at 10:30 to ask if we could check out later. They allowed us to check out at 12:30pm with no extra charge! Amazing stay would definitely recommend and will be back again. Thank you.

The only thing we didn’t have in the bathroom was hand soap unless I missed it. But this wasn’t an issue as we had a bottle with us anyways.

Location is central. Water was hot, shower was easy to use. Numerous lights in the room. Good storage

Cost of parking higher than the average for the city. Room was not thoroughly clean. One had items left from previous occupants and no lining. Carpet had remnants of human cut fingernails. There was a duvet but no bedsheet, no extra covers in case one felt cold, as heater turned off by thermostat.

All good staff were great.

Staff was very nice. I had forgotten my airpods in the room. The head of housekeeping (Katarzyna Brzozowska)personally took the pain and posted the airdrops back to me. Also the lady at the reception (Komapreet) helped me a lot. Very good staff.

Cleanliness and general maintenance of the property. This not down to the housekeeping people to maintain the property, lack of poor management

Couldn’t find my way around not signed very well thought it may have been me being tired but no people was trying to open our door at night time thinking it was their room had terrible sleep both nights

Size of the room & the standard

Attended a conference in the arena and it's an absolutely fantastic setup. Bright, modern, airy, clean and large enough to accommodate a few 100 exhibitors srands and guests

The Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable. The shower had good pressure and everything was spacious enough.

Some of the communal areas of the hotel are looking a little tired and in need of a kick of paint to refresh.

Despite paying £20 for two cars we still received a ANPR fine for a car in our party staying in the car park

Originally booked a normal room, but paid £40 to upgrade to the stadium side...which was unique

the bed and bedding were so comfortable breakfast was lovely the check in staff were very helpful and friendly the cookie was scrummy really nice shampoo and shower gel view of the football pitch goal from bedroom

the basin plug was stuck in the sink the bath plug was easily knocked out there was a lot of marks on the walls and skirting mould around bath and on skirting by bath bath was quite short unable to open window

This was a rather Nice surprise, The rooms were a good size, The beds were really comfortable, very clean and tidy and the Breakfast buffet was by far the best I've had in many years of travelling for work, Overall a superb overnight stay. Waking up to the stadium view was also rather good.

I Can't think of anything, Maybe having to pay £8 parking was the only downside.

We were upgraded to a lovely room overlooking the stadium. The room was lovely,bed very comfy and all very clean. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The dining room and breakfast was amazing. Thankyou

Friendly / helpful staff & nice sized rooms. Breakfast buffet was lovely, lots of choice from hot food to continental options. Staff in the breakfast room were very attentive and helpful, especially around a young baby.

Minor attention to detail would have made this stay exceptional. Our shower gel bottle was empty in the bathroom which was disappointing. We also booked as a family of four but were only provided with two big bath towels. I’m sure upon asking the staff this would have been rectified but we didn’t do this and just managed without.

Very close to the Coventry arena.

There were a large number of dog staying in the property and when we left the room to go to breakfast one of these dog had weed up the door, which had leaked under it and into the room. (I know that this is not the fault of the hotel).

Confusion with car parking.Give car details at reception then 3/4 weeks later get parking fine even though registered.

Clean and comfortable room of decent size.

Car park at additional costs although the arena has sufficient space available - should be free of charge for hotel guests. Location is not good if you wish to have restaurant in walking distance. Aircondition unit was defect (fan defect / loud) and I had to turn it off during the night. Television also with connecitvity and screen problems (but I notified reception during check-out and they promised to get this fixed for future guests).

Location of hotel is perfect

First room had broken shower with temperature knob missing and water stuck on boiling hot. Was moved room but TV was not working due to no box connection- I reported it 3 times and it was never fixed so I did not have TV for entire stay

I booked the Hilton Coventry as it was close to the venue that I was attending. The breakfast was very good with a variety of choice. The staff were very courteous and helpful during my stay.

The only let down was the room was tired and extremely hot. It was also a fair walk to the room from reception.
