On a day when all other riads were fully booked, this one had one room available ! Suited us.

WiFi didn't work. The lady at the counter was informed and she said the owner would be informed about it. We feel the owner should already know about it and if he/she is unable to keep his part of the contract of providing a functioning wifi in the rooms, s/he should not charge the full amount which includes this service. Caused us inconvenience. The staff should not assume all guests like black coffee for breakfast and hence ask and provide a little milk if one needs. One does not wish to ask and send someone three floors down for it. Lobby quiet depressing and the toilet stinks

Very nice riad, cozy upper terrace with a wonderful view of the sea. Quiet and convenient location for visiting the city. spacious and clean rooms. Welcoming staff.

The location was good--off the beaten path but a few minute's walk to the heart of things. The staff were generous and amenable and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were quite nice. Roof top was great, though the common area downstairs was so-so...

Amaaaazing and breath taking view room the room (Malika) - the waves and breeze made us feel in heaven and even with no need to go outside ;) instead of being at the last minute for the great breakfast, the super kind owner welcomed us warmly :) a home atmosphere in a beautiful location and style :) I will come back as soon as possibile <3 shukran!!!!!

The location is great. Amazing view from the terrace. If you choose a room with the seaview, you will sleep with ocean waves lullaby. It was warm and cozy in the room, they have extra covers , if needed. Radia is a great host, very warm and professional.

The water in my room was not hot, but this could have been adjusted, if I addressed this issue to the hotel. Since i stayed only 1 night, i didn't find an opportunity to ask someone to fix this issue.

The hotel is situated in the quiet northernmost end of the town close to the bastions of the sea and close to the fishing harbour which is the most lively and interesting place. Rooms are simple and nicely decorated with modern paintings (Essaouira is a.o. known for its abstract and naïve painters during the last fifty years). The manager/owner who is Belgian as far as I remember is business like but more friendly when you get to know her a bit. Muhammad is the very cheerful handy man who immediately changed some broken bulbs, who also brings your breakfast, and who is virtually running up the stairs though he is not a young man.

Great location within the ancient Medina. Hot shower, clean room, tasty breakfast which you can eat on a rooftop with a view of the whole Medina. Right at the coast so the ocean right underneath your window (if you are lucky to have a room facing the sea).

We requested breakfast half an hour earlier as we needed to catch a flight but were told this is not possible. The breakfast was ment to be from 8:30am so we thought our request wasn't too unreasonable. The room was clean, however the pillows were a bit stinky and could do with a deep clean or a replacement. Our room was located right behind the reception on the ground floor so our windows were facing the busy streets. This wouldn't be a problem but the fact that they don't give you a front door key means that everyone living at the place must either ring the bell or knock on the door. The staff will come and open the door. It was rather loud because of that and so I wouldn't want to stay in that room for longer than one night.

Such s darling gem of a hotel..my room was bang on the ocean and the sound of the sea, sublime!

The only thing that was good about this place was the man responsible for carrying the bags.

Everything, its a mediocre place, very expensive for what it provides a room for 3 like a dungeon, it triggered my claustrophobia, to be paying that much and they give you the cheapest kind of shampoo there is in the market, and its not even a bottler, its two small bags of 0,5MAD bags, like if I was staying at a hostel, and don't let me start talking about breakfast, but the thing that bugged me the most of the fact that Essaouira is a cold city in the summer and there is no heat, so in the time of Corona, I got a cold because of the low temperature and no heating suppies what so ever. And if you suffer from asthma I totally do not recommend this place, because I almost got suffocated because of the humidity in the blackets and pillows and I'm not even asthmatic, I initially reserved for 4 nighit but I couldnt go above 2, and rooftop is so small it cant be enough for more than two rooms to sit in so if u woke up a little bit late and wanted to get your mediocre breakfast there, well u won't have the chance, and it s not like u ll be having ur breakfast in from of the sea, you ll have to stand to watch the sea so while sitting all u get is the sound and the seagulls.

If you want to wake up, go for delicious breakfast and have a wonderful view of the ocean at the same time, this place is for you! The most picturesque view of the Atlantic Ocean. The rooms are also nice. The are better than in the pictures....

Nothing

The highlight of this hotel for my was my partial ocean view window. I love hearing the waves crashing as I sleep. Amazing! The terrace also has stellar views and is an amazing spot for breakfast.

Wifi did not work at all

the site is very beautiful. I recommand this hotel for those like the sea.

the researvation has been done by the internet. However, I was surprised to know that i couldn't pay by card. The payment by cash is necessary during the check-out.
