run down old motel that needs a lot of TLC

We needed extra things like an early check-in and ironing board and the staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. Even offered an extra extra early check-in. The bed was clean and it was in a quiet location, the walls were thick and we did not hear other travelers.

Facilities are older, (but so am I!) Value for money.

Cockroaches, spiders, outdated, no coffee or tea provided. Reception constantly had sign that said “be back in 15 minutes”. Loud next to busy road. Wouldn’t stay again

The location.

Everything. The place was dirty, outdated, old and all the fixtures were stained. Couldnt use the spa as it was leaking and cracked plus it was dirty and stained.

it had 2 bed with a private spa to relax free parking also which was great was great and within our budget

just the shower pressure which is all,was muggy in the inside

Shower was very poor - aweful setup in spa bath that didn't work, water only dribbled out

Great location and had everything we needed easy to locate nice bright sign. And spa was nice.

Looks run down and very basic needs some attention. nets had mould on them and wood was rotten in places needs some work done to freshen it up. Unfortunately some of the other guests thought it would be great to get up early and talk very loud outside our room at 6am needs noise rules to be applied

Bedding was dirty looking, not as pictured in the photos provided from motel. Had a stink odour smell. grounds were dirty. I couldn’t get any photos of in the room, as I had a quick glimpse and was not satisfied.

The location was ok Eat st in walking distance supermarkets ect , local parks and lake.

Lots not to like firstly the front section in photograph was non existent it had burned down was surrounded by concrete bollards. Went to get key on arrival only to be asked if I thought my room had a spa pool which was the room. I'd booked only to be told you can't use the spa in that room if you want a room with spa was extra $40 per night. The carpet was dirty so we're hard floors the bed both beds were on planks of wood my sons pillow case had blood on it and on day 3 we found a dirty baby's nappy on the floor at the door, we don't have a baby and have no idea where it came from. Old crappy place had its heyday probably 30 years ago, would not recommend 😕 Smashed paintings in the wardrobe and no mirror in bathroom I had to ask for one so the guy I asked dashed into another room and got me one, I think he was a cleaner, inside and outside chairs were crusty dirty everything was pretty gross and dirty.

Nothing ,except Location

Oldest furniture, dust in anywhere , No room service done before check in and during the stay. At least they have to clean the toilet after a check out. I will not recommend for any one

Very unclean,no plates or frying pan. Nothing like the pictures online, very misleading. Would of changed motels after the first day if there was any availability elsewhere. First 2 nights there were people partying and arguing upstairs until 5am

close to town and staff friendly

was not clean. stained carpets. furniture broken but was replaced with something stable. holes in wall that was covered up not repaired properly. grime still in spa tub (we cleaned it ourselves) nothing cleaned properly.

Everything. The description of the room was wrong, we expected the spa in our room according to the description but it was broken and has been for a while( 1year according to the receptionist). I would have taken the refund and went somwhere else but there was absolutly no rooms available in Rotorua for a family of 4 ( myself my grandmother and 2 children aged 5yrs and 6yrs) and we were there for a pre planned holiday and could not return back home. It was absolutly disgusting. Had missing cutlery and no cups and was so dirty. We didnt even want to eat or cook anything there we brought paper plates and cutlery to feed the children. The towels were dirty. I got so sick from the dust( allergies ) my eyes were swallon. It was a nightmare. When we approached them about our concerns they didnt offer anything not even to clean the room. The next morning i approached the owner and atleast expected an apology and he just took out his phone mid way me trying to inform him of the concerns i had and my stay and just turned around and walked away. It was so over whelming, and i didnt want to cause a scene when the children was there so we just left. Ive been trying to get in touch with Booking.com but still no reply. So this is my last resort. I paid $386 for the room i will provide all the necessary photos. * I can only upload 4 photos but there is many more. God bless you

Very dirty, beds weren't even made nicely, dust everywhere cigarettes found in the tv cabinet, rubbish in bed side table drawers, shower disgusting and mouldy, private spa looked like hadn't been cleaned in a while, carpets brown, front door lock broken, front curtains ripped, no sky remote,

Bathroom.neefs redoing toilet seat broken.

Nice place but a biy shabby, could use a spruce up when they can. Every one happy with comfy beds. Would stay again.
