Great location friendly staff

No lift

The room was much nicer than it appeared on the photos! It's above a shop so we didn't expect too much, but we were very pleasantly surprised to discover that it was a great place to stay! The windows were open when we arrived and it was incredibly noisy with street noise below, but as soon as we closed them, the noise completely disappeared! The shower was also incredible - so powerful and hot and the bed was super comfy. It was the cheapest option in Zurich for our chosen dates and while it was definitely still expensive, it was such a great place to stay and I'd highly recommend!

The room was a little too hot, even in the winter months, but there was a fan in the room that was super useful. There's also no lift/elevator to the rooms which made it quite a walk up the stairs to our room on the 3rd floor, but we're very used to this when travelling so it didn't bother us too much.

Location & transport connections are v good, with good food and shopping at walking distance.

- Guesthouse is only a short walk from the nearest tram stop. - Room had an electric kettle, decent fridge, and microwave. - Bathroom was spacious and newly renovated.

- Bed took up most of the space in the bedroom so there was little space to place luggage or walk around.

The room was a comfortable size, with 2 chairs and a small table, in addition to the bed. There was also a small kitchenette, which was handy for making simple meals and hot beverages. The location was convenient to a large supermarket, and within walking distance of the center of the city.

The staff was exceptionally good.

> Hotel is above a shop and entrance is through the shop (despite there being a back door from the street). That means you have to go through a number of shop customers to get to the stairs and have to navigate your luggage through the shop aisles. > Staff member at my checkin was very unwelcoming. Just demanded passports & payment - without answering my question whether the hotel is here or not. (Although the other staff members were pleasant.) > No hair dryer in room. > No currency exchange in shop as claimed on their hotel description/facilities. > Very expensive hotel for the minimal quality of the room and the facilities provided. > Door key card always took 5-10 mins to open. On the last day, it didn't open at all and we couldnt get in. Someone turned up after 15-20 mins to check & rectify.

Price/quality ratio is great! The hotel is located just near the main train station. The bed was clean and comfortable.

Its easy to go to via walking or tram. You have a 24/7 store right below you which is fairly priced.

In the summer when we have the windows open, you'll hear the street traffic and the people talking. We were on the second floor. Its not a deal breaker, just did not expect it.

Near central Stations

The owner is super nice. In this crazily expensive city, you can feel the highest level of hospitality here. The owner refused to charge me for coffee although I indeed had much coffee everyday. :)

Very kind host. The room I booked dont equipped with microwave, but when I asked where can I use microwave he gave me a key for another room with it and suggested an option to upgrade room!

No lift

The location is right next to the main central station so you're literally within walking distance to all the main sights in town. So very affordable and you really do get bang for your buck esp considering it's one of the most expensive cities in the world! I liked the kettle, microwave and fridge in the room, there are also bowls and cutlery/utensils etc so if you're running low on funds you can just buy stuff and bring it back to the room to prepare. Bathroom was really nice, water was hot and waterflow was generous. The staff at the desk are lovely, Ali in particular is such a star :D I also liked that the first floor was a 24 hour grocery store, personally that was one reason I chose it as you don't need to go too far if you need anything. As a guest you are also entitled to the free coffee from their extremely nice coffee machine.

Everything was fine and a perfect stay for the money in Zurich
