Location and presentation and very cooperative staff. I will like to visit with family again. Location wise ; All amenities and beaches were near and I liked dog friendly beaches. Dover is half an hour away. There is a holiday express hotel at brink of Victoria road and it makes it easier to find way besides there is a shell petrol station walking distance nearby. People in town seem accommodating and welcome guests however nights in streets are not very safe as teenagers act strange and make outsiders feel unsafe. Town was celebrating Queen’s jubilee and colourful flags were hoisted on houses.

One of bedroom side table lamp didn’t work but it wasn’t much of discomfort

The WiFi didn’t work. Luckily I’d already stayed at number 13 and was able to use their WiFi code. The house stank of cigarette smoke, despite the large notice saying please don’t smoke. My wife has asthma and we actually had to leave the house 4 days early as it was causing her breathing difficulties. The house was clean but very tired looking. It could do with a complete redecoration and the furniture being replaced. The dining table, for example, was so rickety it could not be used safely. Number 13 is a lot cleaner and may have recently been redecorated. Perhaps number 15 is in line for the same makeover.

Lovely staff - very clean and roomy and everything you could possibly need for a holiday. Lovely little garden. Very easy to find the shop they told us about, just round the corner. Nice that they supplied bags for the food and non recycle bins and washing up liquid and bathroom items. Nice they supplied tea and coffee/salt and pepper.

A little pricey for 2 people - would be better for a family or 2 couples Kept losing the Internet at night while listening to my sleep tapes. The people before us put food in the non recycle and there were maggots in the bin.

Very responsive letting agent, responded quickly to queries. Clean, modernized railwaymen cottage. Provided plenty of sundries (like loo rolls) which lots of places don't do..

Issues with WiFi, which the letting agent did try to fix. Thin walls, could hear next doors dog and TV clearly. I'm sure they know our kids names very well by now!

A spacious house with a garden, very clean and well-equipped (towels, kitchen equipment etc.) Good location in a quiet residential street not far from the high street and shops. Very nice host, easy to communicate with. Generally very pleasant stay, one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in.
