All went well for an overnight stay.

the box air conditioner was very noisy. The age and quality of the room doesnt warant the price charged.

It was a bit out of the way no ware to get anything for the kids to eat or drink at night

Maitland City Motel I stayed here with my 85yo mother in a 'Deluxe Twin Room'. What we loved: This is only the second motel I've stayed at that had genuinely comfortable beds, thank you! My mum said to tell you she really appreciated the beautiful, clean white sheets and beautifully presented room (she has a Thing for quality linen). I received the invoice/receipt for the room by email before we arrived. What we liked: The room was clean and free if bugs/mozzies and appears to be recently refurbished. Everything in the room worked correctly. There were glasses and milks in the fridge. There's crockery and cutlery for three, a teatowel neatly folded. The motel is nice and quiet. There's a nice sort of suburban view behind the property. Nice touch: the power outlet with built in USB charging sockets, and the hot chocolate sachets :)

What we liked less: Our room was upstairs (only 2 short flights of 8 stairs each). That took me by surprise because the property info didn't seem to mention any rooms had stairs (there are 4 upstairs rooms BTW). I could have specified ground floor but I didn't think I needed to. My bad. Easy win: Please replace the two spare blankets in the cupboard (tatty and worn, one has super glue on it).

close to where we needed to be , room was comfortable and had what we needed for one night

the room smelt so strongly of bleach and the bathroom floor was so slippery due to cleaning products still left on the floor. almost fell over due to being slippery

Price and proximity to Bowling club.

We had quite a small bathroom.

Location was excellent to town facilities. Not hard to find. neat and tidy. I didn't really have anything to do with the staff, so couldn't form an opinion.
