Great location. Really clean and tidy place. Good amenities in the kitchen. Loved the big hooks on the wall in the kitchen - need more of these. We hung our jackets and rain coats here. Lovely, helpful staff. We rang to say we were running late - they closed up the curtains, turned on the lights and popped the heater on. So thoughtful and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Need a place to put your bags i.e. a small luggage rack in the cupboard that people can pull out and use for their bags. We had to put our packing cells on the couch, side table and dining table and then couldn't use the couch etc. without moving everything. Definitely need a drying rack - we put our damp clothes from the mountain over the chairs in front of the heater. Was worried we might wreck the chairs. Would pay to let people know that the single bed is for a small child - our 13 yr old daughter didn't fit in the bed and kept rolling between the wall and the bed when sleeping (lol). It was fine but if we'd know we would've booked another room with a bigger bed for her. In saying all of this you could have these details in the small print and we missed it. Apologies if this is the case. These are just suggestions for improvement - we still loved our stay and it really was good value for money.

Spa pool, quiet, nice room

Great location. Only 20 minutes from Turoa ski field. 2min drive down to New world, Restaurants, Cafes, Carrot park or a 5 minute walk on a nice day. As well as the National Army Museum only 20 minute drive away. The family room with full kitchen and jacuzzi was a great size for our family of 5 (including 2 young teens) The hot tub was a nice touch after a cold avo out in the snow. The drying room is a great touch for all that wet snow gear after a day out Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others .

booked a standard room. upon arrival asked if there was one with a kitchenette. the hotelier said there had been some cancellations so there was availability. $20 per night. but ended up not taking the additional money. appeared grumpy. heart of gold. thanks man!! really helped our stay

It’s open & free umm it’s comfortable. Very friendly & whanau orientated. it’s clean & tidy. house keeping does a very good job. the mannerisms in the employer who helped us were respectful, kind and helpful! enjoyed the yarns I had with him, I hope he is well. yea would definitely go back & yea probably won’t even look anywhere else.
