Location near centre of town was excellent. Easy to walk. Proprietor very friendly, chatty and helpful. The room had all the necessary facilities that we needed. Shower good. Overhead heating lights in bathroom were a nice bonus.

Parking manouvering is a little tight, so we had to reverse out driveway. But no problem really.

We've stayed here several times now and it is always reliable in terms of cleanliness, fitout and efficiency. The beds are good and it's a shortish walk down Victoria Ave to the centre, with various fast food options and two supermarkets within a couple of blocks.

No issues. If you're a light sleeper then higher-numbered units are further back from the road, but there's not much noise most of the time.

The owner was very helpful and accommodating with allowing an earlier check in time as we were attending a wedding. Thanks very much.

A solid motel choice in Whanganui. Very clean, decent beds, good space, good location on Victoria Ave with New World (and fast food joints should you want them) within a block or two.

Be aware that there's only a microwave for cooking, no hob.
