The fact that we had already stayed at this same apartment a couple of weeks earlier highlights how pleased we were with our stay. Revisiting this on our return journey meant that we knew exactly what to expect. It's a great location (just off the motorway) yet in a lovely little quiet town setting. We were lucky enough to park outside again, which made it easier to transfer luggage to and from the car. We loved the layout of the apartment and to have three bedrooms for less than the cost of a single hotel room is incredible value for money (saving further money by being able to cook meals in the kitchen).

The lack of a toaster (which is listed in the facilities for the apartment). This was also missing in our earlier stay and we had meant to mention it when checking in but forgot to do so.

We stayed in the three bedroomed apartment twice in the space of a couple of weeks as an overnight stay (on the way to and from Portugal). There is plenty of space (three bedrooms, a living room, two TVs, a kitchen) and all for a price that would be less than for a hotel room. The location was just off the motorway and very easy to find. The host was very helpful and friendly.

It would have been nice to have had a toaster in the kitchen (I am sure it was listed on the website) and a few more cooking utensils. Parking is on street parking and we were lucky to find a space opposite the apartment on both occasions but I imagine that it might be more difficult to do this at busier times of the year.

The staff was unfriendly, and the cleanliness was poor.

A dish towel in the kitchen would have been very useful.

The external terrace was full of birds droppings. The dining room chair broke and my friend who was sitting on it at the time hurt her back quite badly.

It was cold, dirty and very shabby plus there was no internet and the lady who welcomed us was not happy to be there plus not helpful at all and was quite rude when the internet and heating did not work. It was not our fault and she seemed to imply we were the problem. There was also pigeon poo on one of the wardrobes and the kitchen was filthy even the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and NO coffee machine whatsoever but dirty and badly stocked with no pans, I did not want to even go in there ….. never mind eat from there, disgusting.

Nice, clean, spacious and good price.
