Clean, tidy and great value for money

Location was convenient. I was running late with issues with my hire car and leaving Sydney to drive there so I would be later than their reception closing at 8.30pm and so they called me back and sent me an SMS for a code to enter my room. This was very helpful and I appreciated the kind lady on reception helping me.
The property is a little run down so I do hope that in the future they will be able to do some more upgrades. Still it was a clean and affordable place to stay. I arrived late and left early so didn't stay long. You can hear the road a bit but I sleep with earplugs so it was not a problem.

Really dodgy bed, very soft with no support. No water pressure in the tap in the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly.
The bathroom is tiny. There was no remote for the air conditioner and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. The pool was green and the surrounding hedge was overgrown and unwelcoming.

Was generally clean and bed was comfortable.
Was mainly full of miners and was quite noisy when they all headed out in their trucks in the early hours of the morning.

Staff friendly
Was told on arrival that is was a workmans motel.
The premises are unkempt and in need of repair and a good cleaning. Pathways need sweeping.

It was convenient for an overnight stay. The price was fair for what we got. The room was a generous size
The rooms need better cleaning as alot of the surfaces were very dusty. There was a cockcroach infestation behind the fridge cupboard that needs addressing.

I liked that I could sleep somewhere for the night with my pet.
Found a cockroach & ant walking next to kettle. Wiped the carpet with a baby wipe & it showed up with a very dirty hand print. Was told that my dog needs to stay in the tiny bathroom because they had run out of vinyl floored rooms for pets. My dog was cleaner than the carpet.... really! After seeing the cockroach & ant I decided not to shower, not to make a coffee or order breakfast. Even the gardens/weeds were overgrown & not inviting. Also no lighting around the back of the complex.

There was a room available at short notice
The bathroom was dingy and the air con cycled on and off very loudly all night

Location was excellent, some traffic noise, but not a bother. Beds awesome, bathroom clean and functional.
Light switch in room 10 bathroom lead to a bit of confusion. But a minor thing.

Heater didn’t work well and smelt like mothballs

Decent room, location and price
Werent Able to use the pool, and did book here for the reason of having a pool. Needs a bit of TLC but I'd stay again

Mostly everything about the accommodation, and people were loud and doors slamming, plus pets were barking loud and wouldn't stop.
