Nice enough hotel. Easy parking in the street. Location good, 15 minute walk to town centre, several restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good, didn`t have dinner.

Had some noise problem from the room above, but I guess it is just bad luck. A little dated / tired in places.

One street back from the esplanade and easy to walk to the main area of Douglas. There is the local bus near too which goes all over the Island.

One unpleasant incident with a staff member but, to be fair, it seemed like the exception. Would have rated them a 10 if not for that incident.

Really liked staying here. The gentleman (sorry, I didn't catch his name) on reception was very friendly, the room very comfortable and spacious, the shower powerful and the wifi fast. Nice to have a small fridge in the room! The price was good too. Would recommend!

The pillows were quite hard and the elevator was a squeeze to get 2 people and 2 small backpacks inside, but these were minor issues.

The staff were brilliant and made us feel really welcomed I would definitely recommend

Room was nice clean with some were sitting down in very nice bath and shower and air conditioning as well and great room and ther small lift ther the staff was very helpful

Hope next time in September i have different room for the stay be good

Great location - short 2 minute walk to the seafront and not far into Douglas main area. Neat rooms, attentive polite staff, good food and well stocked bar. Ideal for Douglas Ferry ⛴️.

You need to find your own parking in the nearby streets, but we did every time, close enough so wasn’t a big hassle / I understand Douglas is the same all over really - so it’s not a massive negative and no way the fault of the Hotel….. more a comment only.

Great location, just off the main promenade, and a few mins walk up the hill from the bus stop. Great communication from hotel about room type and early checkin. Gave us a spacious corner room with view down to the prom and the sea, with sofa to relax after a busy day. Lovely sunny room. Manx breakfast freshly cooked plus help yourself cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juice. Traditional hotel and friendly staff. Would stay here again 😊

Great location easy walking distance to Douglas and the TT main grandstand (but prepare for a very steep hill), kitchen in the room had everything we needed and there was plenty of space in the room

Our tv didn’t have a remote but staff did try to help sort another one but in the end it had to be controlled by one button on the bottom and our toilet flush was unreliable but overall these were small things

Lovely Hotel just up the hill from the promenade. Very helpful staff and very clean. Good prices drinks and lovely evening meals. Lots of local information is available.

The description said that rooms have a mini-bar, but there isn't one it's just a small fridge in the room.

We arrived at the Wellbeck around 9am, exhausted having spent a night at Dublin airport, due to the timing of out flight. Not only did the lady at reception upgrade us to a bigger room she settled us in the lounge with a tea tray to relax while the room was being made ready. Beautiful big room with a sea view and my husband loved watching the ships come in. I enjoyed the bath, TV, Fridge, Kettle and a little lift to go up to the 3rd floor. The bed was sheer luxury as was the room service. We had two dinners at the hotel. They were reasonably priced and adapted to gluten free for me. I don’t give an excellent rating lightly but this place really deserves one.

well situated for all attractions in Douglas. Plentiful free roadside parking outside hotel. Very friendly staff in all areas. Nice bar and good food.

The hotel was very helpful. I loved that it had a restaurant and the food was good. The staff were very helpful.

Thr sound proofing of the room. It was very noisy with the other guests and the room seemed to be surrounded in all directions with noisy neighbours.
