The location was great. Very clean inside.

A friendly and helpful young lady who was in charge greeted us on arrival.
Nothing was too much trouble for her during our stay, she made sure we had a pleasant stay.
Super large rooms with comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom.
Spotlessly clean throughout.
The breakfast room was decorated in a French style, which was very pleasing to the eye.
I had the continental breakfast, and this was most adequate.
Great location, good local transport from outside the front door.
Highly recommended, I will most certainly stay here again.

Poor breakfast. everything was processed. No fresh fruit or protein.
Shower gel and shampoo provided but in little plastic bottles. The hotel could move to refillable receptacles to reduce plastic waste.

No negatives really, the only reason we scored staff lower is because we didn’t actually see any staff until handing the room key back.

Very good location overlooking Douglas Bay. Being out of tourist season, it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was complimentary, and there is a nice room with a view outside onto the bay. It was great as a solo traveler like me. If I return to the Isle of Man, I would stay again.

Location is excellent on the sea-front and within walking distance of the town centre. There is a Bus Mannin bus stop almost opposite with direct and regular service to the airport. The room and bathroom were spacious. Heating was very effective. Continental breakfast is great / perfectly adequate so ignore the negative remarks elsewhere. I needed extra consumables which were provided on request by attentive and responsive staff.
The lift was under maintenance and out of service for my last few days but I needed the exercise.

value for money. lovely staff. room and bathroom very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Continental breakfast was included in the price which was a bonus. would stay again. breakfast room had a view over the prom and tables cleared away promptly
the lift but it is in an old building and the size of the lift reflects this.

No sound proofing, lots of noise day and night, bed very unconformable, very dated, hotel next door abandoned, damp smell, no staff on desk, very poor breakfast.

although there was a hair dryer, there were no plugs near to the big mirror and lead on hairdryer not long enough to reach what plugs and mirror there was

The room was very spacious with a gorgeous sea view.
Plenty of storage in the room.
The light outside the room was on all night shining under and around the door, (i like a room to be pitch black) also no mini fridge to keep drinks/snacks cold.

It was a positive experience overall. Sea view was fantastic from room. Complimentary breakfast just finished it off, lovely. Staff were considerate friendly and helpful.

Issue with our door lock which was eventually sorted out.
