Staff were nice and polite. Establishment looks nice.

Room 17: the mattress was so melted that you were reaching the “base” of the bed. Only the borders of the mattress have survived. You were sinking immediately, we were two people sleeping and this was making it even worse. Floor was feeling that will collapse and you will end up downstairs. Shower was clogged. Door was closing/locking, but practically was not “fitting” the wall and you could see the light out around it, hear everything, it was operating like being “open”. And ofc everyone could hear you.

Nothing we didn’t like but things to think about. If staying for more than a few days the bathroom is a typical small ensuite - perfectly functional and good value for the money but some people might struggle with the size if say staying for a week. It can’t be any bigger as the owners have done a sympathetic addition to an old property. Our room was lovely and big but on the ground floor right by the front door. We were lucky as everybody was in quite early and reasonably quiet on entry, but we did wonder if less considerate people were staying. This would not stop us staying again.

Menus posted for outside dining were ridiculously out of date. Door locks difficult to manage.

Warm, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Central location

Shower door would not close so had to put towels on bathroom floor. Single room was quite small.

Very clean, fabulous quality for money, would definitely stay again.

Very handy for the city centre. Excellent parking.

Nothing to dislike

We spent most of our time away sightseeing and exploring the city, so only needed a place to sleep and shower. This place was perfect for that

The bathroom lock wasn’t the greatest but other than that the place was fine
