No pude disfrutar de la piscina por su horario , llegué a disfrutar como turista en Barcelona por supuestos pasaba todo el día fuera conociendo lugares fantásticos de Barcelona y al llegar al hotel sobre las 20:00 o 21:00 sería genial poder usar la piscina para relajarme pero esto fue imposible ya que la cerraban sobre las 19:00 me pareció fatal pero bueno en otro momento me fijaré en los Detalles para adquirir un nuevo hotel

-Location outside of Barcelona, easy to go to the centre but escaping the hustle and bustle -beautiful garden area with pool -good breakfast buffet

-Everything looks new and good, but it is made of the cheapest materials. Me and my wife had severe allergies when we were indoors -Water temperature fluctuating during shower -all extra charges are coming at the price of a real luxury hotel. Parking 35eur a night, water in the room 7 eur per bottle, a badly cooked steak (outside burned inside rare) 35 eur and so on -cleaningness hit and miss. We had 2 rooms, one was everyday tidy while another one looked like it wasn't cleaned at all -housekeeping inconsistent, sometimes filling up things in the room, sometimes not

Unser Aufenthalt im Melia Hotel war äußerst enttäuschend und wir werden dieses Hotel in Zukunft nicht mehr besuchen! Der Spa-Bereich und die Rooftopbar waren aufgrund von Umbauarbeiten geschlossen. Auch das Haupt-Fitnessstudio war nicht verfügbar, und das Ersatz-Fitnessstudio war sehr schlecht ausgestattet. Zusätzlich mussten wir täglich erheblichen Lärm durch die vielen Baustellen ertragen. Der beworbene schöne Pool auf dem ersten Foto gehört nicht zum Gran Melia Hotel und kostet pro Person und Tag € 100. Dies ist irreführend und enttäuschend. Der Außenbereich des Frühstücks ist nur für „RedLevel“ Gäste zugänglich, was in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wird. Als normale Gäste wurden wir in einen dunklen und unattraktiven Raum im hinteren Teil des Hotels geschickt. Der Rasen rund um das Hotel und beim Pool war ungepflegt und hässlich. Zudem waren die Liegen am Pool so schräg, dass ein bequemes Liegen nicht möglich war. Insgesamt entspricht das Hotel unserer Meinung nach nicht dem Standard eines 5-Sterne-Hotels.

Highly recommended. The location is very good. Public transportation is reachable within 5-10 minutes. Facilities are in a good shape. Design books in the lobby is an excellent option for the evening.

Feels like a ‘work in progress’ hotel - pool area requires work and attention, no pool food service and very limited drinks service, spa and gym building still undergoing renovation, breakfast service was OK but nothing exceptional, location of hotel convenient for airport but quite a distance out of city centre.

All went well, the staff at the reception were super friendly and cooperative every time I talked to them. I loved staying there, and the location of the hotel is close to all the nice attractions in the city, Sagrada Familia, Camp Nou Barca FC, and a number of beautiful things to visit all at walking distance! Truly enjoyable.

The only funny situation that happened is that the cleaners loved to eat up most of my Haribo Gummies bag that I had in the room, so beware to leave Haribo Gummies (Strawberry flavor) since they are their favorite treat 😋.

Everything. Torre Melina is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life. Rather than a hotel, it was an experience.

The main bar was never open. Coffee machines at breakfast are slow and under-fill cups which results in long waiting time when the restaurant is busy.

Se nota falta de personal. Cuando llegas tienes que ocuparte tu mismo de tu equipaje , de estacionar el coche y las esperas para el desayuno son largas . La piscina de los jardines estaba cerrada, al parecer en obras , algo que no se avisa al hacer la reserva

Hôtel bien desservi par le métro vers le centre de Barcelone. Belle décoration du hall de l’hôtel. Chambre spacieuse avec belle vue sur Barcelone. Personnel d’accueil aimable.

Lit trop mou, gênant quand on dort à deux. Café et thé de la chambre n’ont pas été réapprovisionnés le deuxième jour de notre séjour. Variations de température importantes de l’eau pendant la douche. Musique du hall de l’hôtel trop forte la nuit, audible depuis la chambre. Pas de jus d’orange frais pressé possible au petit déjeuner. Salle du petit déjeuner un peu sombre et triste.

The room was very nice. The ambiance of the main hall was warm and inviting, with elegant décor and well-coordinated colours. Soft lighting and plush seating created a comfortable atmosphere, while a tasteful blend of modern and classic elements added sophistication. The high-quality décor made the main seating area a delightful space. .

The staff at breakfast exhibited occasional rudeness. We were directed to sit in a less desirable area that was cold and distant from the available window seats. Although breakfast is advertised as available until 11 am on Saturdays and Sundays, we found that after 10 am, the replenishment of bowls ceased. Consequently, those arriving later may not find their desired items. The hot food offerings, such as bacon, eggs, and potatoes, were placed in a heated section but unfortunately cooled quickly unless taken immediately. Investing in superior heating mechanisms for the hot food would greatly enhance the dining experience. During our stay, the swimming pool was under construction and thus unavailable, as was the spa. While we were informed of this beforehand, it is worth noting that the hotel's location offers limited activities, rendering it comparable to an overpriced, albeit luxurious, Holiday Inn. As visitors from Ireland, where we are accustomed to €8 pints. Despite Ireland's higher costs and taxation on food and drink, we were nonetheless surprised by the elevated prices. We anticipated more expensive pricing for food and beverages than found locally in a five-star establishment but €8 for a pint compared to €4.80 in the city centre is a bit much. Throughout our journey from Barcelona to San Sebastián, where we stayed in numerous hotels across Spain, this particular hotel stood out for its expense. The hotel's location allows for convenient access to the city centre via bus or train. However, if your intention is to fully enjoy Barcelona rather than merely attend a conference, I would recommend staying closer to the city centre for a more immersive experience.

Nice and clean hotel.

We were waken up by several phone calls in the night. The person on the line told us we could pick up dinner and a creditcard card payment was made. At the reception the did not understand what happened. The day after we agreed to come back at the reception for a solution. The only thing the hotel management offered us was an apology……

The room is specious, clean and modern.
