Liked that is was on the beach

Bathrooms weren’t nice and didn’t feel clean. The dorm was quite horrible too, everyone kept their bags all over the floor and it was very untidy

We went here with a group of 14 when visiting the half moon festival. This hostel is the perfect place if you want to Party and meet others with the same mindset. We booked the Private rooms and for the money those were perfectly fine. The bathroom is shared with others but was clean. A not working toilet was fixed quickly after highlighting to the staff. Food here is pretty good The beach area is great for relaxing and pre-drinking. There is an happy hour as well.

Due to the hostel being on the beach, Sand is everywhere.

It is good to come to a party and meet new friends

The air conditioner is a bit cold at night, the music can be heard at night, and the sound of cars passing by on the street is very loud

Easy to meet people as a solo traveler, staff are also welcoming and friendly. Great social area.

the common area was a very comfortable, spacious and chilled. there is a beach right outside, with beanbags around, swings etc. well priced food and drinks, also the stay itself. staff were amazing and very helpful. we planned to stay for 2 nights but have extended for another 3 because we liked it so much. also the dogs that live there are very friendly and cute which is a bonus!!

the social aspect was the best part- everyone was friendly who was staying there and luckily we were blessed with a good group in our room making the stay bearable

the fascilites were awful. We were packed into a tiny room across the road which we shared with 10 people. there was another large dorm across the the way- between us we had one properly working shower and one toilet that blocked/ flooded twice. One night we reported the leaking toilet before we went out and on arrival home hours later water was still pouring out meaning we had to constantly walk across the road in the middle of the night to use toilets etc.. On top of this I was on the top bunk under the air con which was leaking all over my bed throughout the 4 nights we stayed- I reported this twice however was told I have to ‘make do and sleep on a damp bed as it’s full moon so no other beds’. the sercurity was awful with our tiny ‘lockers’ just in an open corridor accessible from anyone on the street.Furthermore no staff were up for checkout so lost our deposits as needed to catch a ferry.

bathroom, showers and rooms where disgusting. it wasn’t clean. 1 bathroom between 10 people. and the toilet kept breaking.

Wifi was okay!

The shower was not clean and the aircon was on 16 and it was freezing at night.

Nice social area, easy to meet other travellers. Bedrooms are quiet and you can sleep easily - even in 16ppl dorm I could sleep the whole night. Water refill. Direct access to the beach, however it's not the nicest one for a swim. Relatively cheap for Phangan standards.

Restaurant quite expensive, I think breakfast starts around 120bht - which for my backpacking budget is a bit much, same with beer prices. Half of the showers are nasty - blood on the walls and dead mosquitoes. I found another shower room later and used it instead. Also the room seems like never cleaned, old spiderwebs mixed with dust. Location is pretty remote from nice sightseeing spots (beaches, waterfalls, viewpoints) so motorbike, hitchhiking skills or a lot of taxi money is a must.

Lots of open space to sit around and the beach front was lovely.

There was no mirror in the room which I think should be added.

Showers are toilet area all good The social area is great Drinks are decent prices aswell at the bar

The host was awful, she seemed so miserable and didn't put in any effort, most probably hungover but at least have some enthusiasm when new guests arrive. Confusion with the beds we were given and didn't know what was going on. My bed was right under the ac and next to the window leading to the main Street which wasn't very pleasant. Seemed like they should have a 14 bed dorm and scrap the last bunk bed and put lockers there instead because everyone's bags are just put in the middle of the rooms. Good for one night and location is great, just glad it wasn't for more than one

It was near a beach

- I arrived 14:00 for check in however had to wait as my room wasn’t ready. - Room was humid and smelt like damp. - I was shown to my bunk, there’s no railing on the top bunks so it’s unsafe. - My sheets had not been changed from the last person, they were sandy and stank. - No space/area to keep bags so clothes&damp towels were left in the rooms. - The 12 bunk room is overcrowded. There is only a small walkway area.

Great, social atmosphere. location is good for half moon party. lots of areas to chill as well.

cleanliness could have been a tad better. surprisingly toilets and showers were fairly clean, but there was hair in hallways. doesn’t matter a ton, but they ask to take off shoes before heading to rooms.

Fair prices, friendly staff, nice chill Area, yoga 2* in a day for 1*100bath ( morning or evening)

The hostel is great to socialise and meet people right before the full moon party. Including a free pool table which I used most nights. The stay were fantastic as well, and thanks to Troy who chatted to me most days!

The dormitories are a little uncomfortable. I slept on top bunk, I do think a safety bar should be put onto each bunk.

Cool hostel on the beach. Staff are helpful with recommendations for the full/half moon party. Nice sociable atmosphere. We stayed in a private double which was simple but all you need from a hostel. Thanks for a lovely few days.

Cool, relaxed vibe. Nice communal area and really good food all day. Staff were really great and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Double room was very basic but as described. Not super close to the main bars etc but fine if you have a scooter or can order a taxi.
