Luxurious and cool hotel with a laid back and cosy feeling. Very attentive staff, some of the with great English. Great breakfast buffet with some a la carte options. Situated centrally in Beijing in an area with some old buildings (the hotel also has Hutong suites even though we didn’t stay there). Decent size indoor pool and a good spa. We didn’t use the underground, but there was a metro/underground station a few minutes walk from the hotel. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

the location was great with lots of good food and shopping nearby.

we expected the level of the Waldorf Astoria in New York. this hotel was good but nowhere near the luxury of the one in New York.

The working staff are very attentive, helping me out since everyone else has their Chinese apps to do all sorts of things.

The currency exchange machine inside the hotel charges too much service fee.

Nothing I did not like.

The rooms are lovely and high quality fixtures and fittings. Door staff greeted us in English and were helpful. Extra coffee was requested and brought to the room by very polite butler. The location is excellent.

The front desk had very low level of English and only greeted my friend who is Chinese. The breakfast was very disappointing; cold dishes on the buffet and wrong orders brought to us. We asked for the hash browns and were told not today. The restaurant manager followed us around and the overall restaurant experience was mediocre. Feedback for tge breakfast was shared but the desk could not understand English. after leaving I had numerous calls and messages because they did not take payment correctly. Customer Service needs to improve. I have stayed in many hotels in Beijing and this is one I would probably not return to based on this experience.
