The gym and the swimming pool where really good.

Friendly housekeeping staff. Comfortable enough. Food delivery quite easy to get as there is a takeaway lock box outside the hotel (a lifesaver).

We were there just to work remotely the last week before our Christmas holiday. I have to say I was a bit disappointed by the wifi speed since we were there to work. Due to COVID restrictions the breakfast buffet changed to a set meal that was delivered to our hotel room. The set meal (although we got to choose one of three options) was disappointing because we paid extra for breakfast. The heating was broken but to be fair they warned us in advance and brought us a space heater. Overall, it was fine for a few days but too expensive per night for the quality of room, wifi, and breakfast we received.

The Hyatt Regency offered good looking facilities in a good location. We emailed ahead asking for details of rooms, we called ahead. A total of 5 communications went out a full two weeks before the trip. 1 communication came back, within 48hrs of our arrival. True the facilities are good. The location is good, hell even the clothes cleaning was good. But it was an experience where you constantly had to wonder what they were going to do wrong, even possibly to us. I cannot recommend this hotel.

On check in - they were unable to find our booking. And, went so far as to book us in under someone else's name! This event was only heightend later in the trip when another couple, I think from Beijing were complaining about faults in their room - the manager responded to them they would swap them into another room, and the people who were meant to stay in that room could have their current broken room. Terrible management, nodding and pretending to listen whilst taking no visable note of real concerns other guests were raising. I had a call the day after we arrived. The person on the call said we had forgetten our ID cards. Forgotten? The check in had taken them and forgot to give them back!
