The host was great and very helpful - he even picked us from the station. I loved the location of the house because it was on the beach side of the old town so we could walk into town or to a beach a little further out with ease. House had everything we needed and worked really well for our family.

Gioacchino is a very helpful and very thorough host - he welcomed us at the apartment and explained everything we needed to know. I needed help to get the air-conditioning working and he came promptly to help with that (for your information, there are switches adjacent to the nearby wall sockets that you need to press). The apartment is clean and spacious, has a modern bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. The terrace is large and (if you lean a bit) has views of the Rocca and the sea. The beds are comfortable and all of the shutters and air-conditioning units and so on work as they should. The internet connection was very good. In terms of location, the apartment is very well-placed for exploring the town, climbing the Rocca, going to the beach and is very close a large selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

There really isn't anything. The one piece of advice I would offer is that driving around the little streets of Cefalu is quite challenging for a non-Sicilian (the locals just whizz around like there's no tomorrow) and finding a parking spot is a challenge, but you would get that wherever you stay in Cefalu and Gioacchino was helpful with advice on where to park.
