the room is a typical comfortable B&B room on the ground floor so one can sit on the patio. As there are no net curtains, one either draws the curtains or people can look into the room. We appreciated the fridge and the hairdryer in the room. the nearest pubs are just a 20-minutes walk away.

the last stretch of the road is very bumpy. I don’t recommend driving it with a low clearance vehicle. While the cold breakfast options are good, the cooked breakfast is a bit boring (not tomatoes, hash browns, mushrooms).

We are not often rendered speechless but this location and property took our breath away. We had an outstanding room with access to a private patio area. A short drive allowed us to visit a beach with golden sands. We witnessed one of the most impressive sunsets we'd ever seen which we watched from a viewpoint that was a 5 minute stroll from the property. In addition, the breakfast room was blessed with stunning sea views across to the islands. The entire area of Connemara spoke 'traditional Ireland' with all of its familar friendliness and warmth. We have fallen in love with the area and in particular Tully Cross and Ocean Lodge and we can't wait to return.

Friendly and welcoming, warm and home like. Very good breakfast with many options.

Delicious breakfast, great location (very close to the Connemara National Park) and wonderful views of the ocean!

The room could have been a little bit warmer.

Our room was perfectly accommodating. Breakfast was lovely and enjoyed the conversation with the owner. The Ocean was a short walk down the road. Spectacular! Go Tottenham!
