This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Akaroa. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy and very spacious and the view from the top story is spectacular. We won’t stay anywhere else.

The view from the room was awesome.
Lady on the front counter was lovely.
Very clean and tidy, huge room and bathroom and the tv was a decent size. Bed was extremely comfortable and could see out to the harbour.
Selection of food places close by and the main centre was less than a 5 minute walk away.

Beautiful views over Akaroa Harbour. Very comfortable bed, great black out curtains. Good quality supplies in the room.

This motel went above our expectations!
- I couldn’t get over how clean the room was and how well it was set up and kitted out. It had everything we needed and more, including a full kitchenette, large bathroom with spare towels (they provide high quality products for the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom & even had a hair dryer) there was an iron, outdoor chairs, they provided separate beach towels for water activities, and finally to top it off, the room had an air conditioning unit.
- Bed was comfy and large!
- The staff were extremely friendly and location was perfect for just walking around the town.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough, we would definitely stay here again if in Akaroa!

next door to the loading bay of the town supermarket . lots of vehicle movement and forklift/product unloading/loading noise early morning

We preferred our unit to the flash Christchurch hotel room the previous night. The location was excellent too. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful management team. Our unit was very clean and comfortable.
