pictures were not the same as property, you made it look updated. the porch furniture needed updated to be able to sit out there to enjoy. We thought we were to see sunsets, not from this property, had to walk down the block and that is all private property.

My family and I come down from Monday - Monday of Labor Day Week. My wife and I always look for a little place to stay on the island from that Friday - Monday for some extra time. This was our first VRBO and we loved it. Will definitely look to book again next year!

The cottage is very cozy and located not far from downtown/harbor and is only short drive to Assateague. Nice area to take walks or just enjoy the quiet on the porch. We had two deer walk through the yard when we were on thr porch.

The property was exactly as advertised. It was clean and quiet. The neighbor next door was so nice and helpful. Great location for the annual pony swim event. I really enjoyed my stay.

My daughters and I stayed at Island Breeze Cottage last week for a 'girls weekend' and very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was exactly as described, had everything we needed, and the screened porch was perfect (and necessary). We loved the decor and little kitchenette. Lovely breezes and peaceful nights. We hope to return next year!

We enjoyed our stay in this tiny house! Spent quiet mornings on the screened porch with coffee and a breeze off the channel. It is a tiny space but perfect for our weekend getaway and we appreciated having more space than most island hotel rooms. If you book in July it should be in walking distance of the Fireman’s Carnival.

We enjoyed our stay at Jesse's place! It was a short walk down to the water, had some good amenities, and when something unforeseen happened he was communicative and prepared for it and helped us out along the way. We didn't try out any of the appliances and I'm not sure this space is going to be comfortable for more than the 2 of us but since it was just 2 of us we enjoyed it very much. Will definitely plan to come back another time!

Tiny, but perfect for 2 people. The screened in porch was a huge bonus, we spent alot of time out there in the comfy hammock chairs without having to worry about bugs. The listing is misleading with the "water view" though. Its close to the water but theres a row of houses between that blocks the view. Overall great stay, easy check-in, quiet neighborhood. We would definitely come back

We loved the cottage. Perfect location to everything on the island. Was within walking distance to the seafood festival and shops. The screened porch was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. We highly recommend staying there. We are considering a summer visit and hope the cottage is available if we do.

I was in Chincoteague for a short weekend stay. Wanted something other than a hotel. This fit my needs. The cottage is a very compact, clean place to stay. Check in/ Check out was easy. Would stay there again.

Advice to future travelers -- if you plan to go to Assateague Island and walk any of the wooded trails, be sure you have lots of effective mosquito repellant! Food (crab cakes!) and service at A.J.'s on the Creek were quite good.

This was the perfect place to stay for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The cottage is comfortable and private, yet located close to everything. It seemed even better being set back off of the main road.

The cottage was very comfortable and was perfect for the two of us for our two day visit to Chincoteague. It was very clean and had been very well renovated. We did not do any cooking while there but we could have as it had all of the necessities.

This was a perfect stay for myself, my daughter and 2 granddaughters. Although the cottage is small, it was plenty of space for the 4 of us and there are 2 wonderful decks to enjoy the outside too. The location was great and we enjoyed walking to the carnival, watching the pony parade, and going for an evening bike ride. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt. We will definitely look at staying again next time we visit Chincoteague!

This cottage never disappoints! Every year our family takes a trip to Chincoteague and we stay here. It’s just the right size for us and we love having a place of our own. Cute, cozy, and very clean! Not to mention the view of the sun setting every night from the bay. We will be back next year!

This is a great place to stay on the island, its very central to everything and was very close to the marina and main street. The home was perfect for my wife and I's 12th anniversary vacation. I hope to rent again next year! Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful home!

Jesse’s little cottage is the perfect Chincoteague weekend getaway. It’s set back far enough to be hidden from noise and tons of people, but only a short walk to the water to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The location and cottage itself is the perfect embodiment of Chincoteague. We will definitely be returning.

So, the process of arranging this trip was super simple and I will continue to use. My significant other was supposed to join me on this trip but had a family emergency and ended up going to NY. The neighborhood was quiet, minus my morning wake up calls from the seagulls and George and Martha, the ducks.
