The place is quiet, a bit far from the center, but you can take the bus and the stop is nearby. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is simple and cute in my opinion:)) The room is clean, comfortable and spacious. It is very nice to have air conditioner during the summer! I am satisfied with everything!

Very clean and comfortable place to stay with a delicious breakfast in the morning. The owner is very kind and helpful. Very easy to find a free parking if you have a car .

The location is not so close to the centre of Matera

The room is located in a quiet area, very close to Matera. The host was exceptionally kind and provided amazing breakfast. For a shorter stay the apartment is great to explore the area and has everything one needs.

There is only a ventilator and no air conditioning.

Enzo our Host was amazing. He went over and above for us. He was on site at agreed time and told us about all the sites to see in Matera & beyond. Enzo prepared a delicious breakfast which was very fresh and straight from the bakery. He even gave us a loaf of freshly baked bread from an excellent Matera bakery to enjoy on our journey. Breakfast was the best served for us on our trip so far. I would recommend Home Sweet Home. Great locality - great hospitality ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Grazie Mille Enzo

There was nothing we didn’t like 😀

The host was excellent. Even though he wasn't speaking english, he gave us useful advice about the parking, where to eat (restaurant "la Pignatta", it was great!!!), etc. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was huge and in the morning we had a big breakfast waiting for us. The only disadvantage is that you need a car. We had a car but others that don't may have a problem because it's a bit outside Matera. But if you have a car you should defenetally stay here!
