location is good, alot of shoplots nearby, near to airport also, free breakfast, value for money

share toilet which is abit not so convenient, aircond is too old and noise.

1 Sharing toilet amongst 5 to 6 rooms is outrageous.

Bathroom. Faucet leak, Toilet commode leak water PVC pipe underneath sink has small leak, hence bathroom floor is wet. A shower curtain will be nice so water doesn't get into the commode area. I would probably give a 10 if not for the leak. I would still be back to stay bc of value.

Alex is very friendly. Guided us through his restaurant. A bit biased though by what he thinks foreigners would like to eat. Allowed late checkout without surcharge! Thanks again!

Do not believe the pictures. This is not how this guesthouse looks like. It probably was like this some years ago. Everything is run down now. Rooms smaller than you would expect. Cleanliness. Tons of hair and dirt unter the bed and on the dresser. Bathroom also not really clean. Water was not really heated in the shower. Alex' brother is not the friendliest person on earth. Arrogant but helps if he has to. Not really clear what you are allowed to eat in the restaurant for breakfast and what not. How much were we allowed to eat? No one really explained anything. Alex was not there. His brother was not really interested in helping. Later got a bill for some items. Prices doubled the ones written on the big wall with pictures. Explanation was that wall prices are not updated. Then that we took a bigger item then that one pictured on the wall. So what was the reason? Paid a bit less and it was ok.

The only comfort staying here was the kopitiam below the guesthouse that's sells variety of food and snacks. Guest would have lots of options to choose. The location was around small township so all facilities i.e. convenient store, market, clinic, laundry was within short walking distance.

The tap water smelled like sewer water which used for shower and it was gross. The owner only mentioned it when we complained and said the city has been facing similar issue for past few days. We wished to be notified earlier. The next morning my partner had diarrhea and later myself likely due to contaminated water. We spent two days mostly on bed with medication and we were told this was due to the water issue.

Basic, but comfortable room.
