Cool spot, north end of town so much quieter. Good food around, cool spot, cool people. Book it!

Lovely place with a great vibe. Felt very welcome from the start. You won't be treated as a customer, rather as a guest and friend. The area is safe and quiet with a few places to eat in the neighbourhood. Just a few steps to the beach and a 10-15 min walk to the busy town center. Room was very spacious with a hammock in front and daily cleaning.

Everything! The location is fantastic. On a cute, super safe street far enough away from the town to have serenity but near enough to walk in for the party, shopping, and restaurants. Staff were informative, available, and very kind and welcoming. Felt like old friends Breakfast was fantastic! Something different every day of the week which you hardly ever get in ecuador. Each breakfast was healthy, flavorful and yummy. The decor and ambiance give you such a sense of calm and welcome. They can hook you up with tons of stuff to do: surf lessons, board rentals, Spanish lessons, whale watching, reiki sessions, massage, trips to la isla de la plata, and on-site yoga classes every day.

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer. :)

Really nice place in a quiet part of Montañita and just by the beach, the breakfast is excellent, different each morning. There's a lot of activities you can participate in (yoga, surf, spanish lesson) but it's also really nice to chill in the common parts

The only critic i could do it's maybe a little lack of equipment in the shared kitchen: there is only one pan so if several groups want to cook you have to wait until they finish

Nice bar and yoga options, close to the beach. However, the town is about 15 minute walk away. We expected more based on the other reviews.

Double Room we stayed in was very small and AC was very loud. Surf lessons rather expensive.

I am not a big fan of Montañita but this place is just lovely. It is a 15 minute walk out of the town center. You can also take a bike which is provided by the hostel. The outside area is nice and chill, the room and the bed are comfy. All facilities are tidy and clean. Very close to the beach. You can rent surf boards and even enjoy surf lessons from the countries longboard champions. Olón is a 30 minutes walk if you want surf at another beach. And if you are not into surfing or you want to stretch your sore muscles, join the yoga lessons. I travel alone and I felt like among friends there.
