I went with my family and we received an offer for a room change with a better view of the mountain with the same cost. The guesthouse exterior gives a luxurious atmosphere surrounded by nature. It was wonderful driving around places to visit in the cool weather.

The toilet and water flow can be improved, the hot water shower stopped being hot for a few minutes before it gets warm again.

Guesthouse is close to town and there are shops & eateries nearby View of Mt Kinabalu from the room Check in & Check out are a breeze Clean and well-kept

Poor sound proofing Not enough power socket in the room No bedside table Fixtures and furnishing are a bit dated No wardrobe to hang clothes and only ONE hangar was provided

The toilet and shower were above each other, globally not very clean. There was no proper shower place. Not possible for the room price to have such configuration. Bed sheets and towels seemed very old. No breakfast available at all. Very close to the cemetery, if you are scared don't go.

- Broken tap handle in bathroom, useable but with sharp edges - rusted basin waste outlet - loose toilet seat - poor lighting in bathroom - insufficient facilities to hang clothing in bathroom - squeaky bed - old mattress with poor support - lumpy pillows - inside of entry door dirty - power points (sockets) poor located, too high to used supplied kettle - no tea bags with supplied tea and coffee making facility - only one glass and one cup supplied in a room for two

The friendly staff who waited for us until we got there and check-in. We arrived there early evening as traffic was bad that day (or any other day).

The room charge is a bit expensive for a two-room apartment and we thought its the whole house. Maybe we misread it when we were looking for a place in Kundasang. Didnt know there are others who were also renting the place.

1. Rough bumpy road to get to guesthouse 2. Dirty and very small n smelly toilet 3. A big vehicle parked at door blocking entrance almost all the time 4. No cleaning service at all for 3D2N stay
