Excellent breakfast. Great location.

Fabulous location for walking to some of the sights near the lake and for exploring locally by car. The baths nearby is an added plus. Lovely room, clean, spacious and comfortable. Great kitchen facilities and dining in shared space with a couple of other rooms. This made it really good value too if your budget in Iceland is tight. Good showers etc.

Rooms were very small for 2 people. please put some hooks in the rooms. The guesthouse can’t control the guests but the guests have to learn how to respect other people’s space and be considerate!

The room was big as well as the bed which was also very comfortable, I liked the pillows and the bedding. There was a desk in the room, a shelf and a sink. WiFi was working great. The common kitchen seemed nice and clean, but I did not use it. Bathroom and toilets were clean. I arrived before check-in time and although I could not go into my room yet, I could stay in the common area (where they also serve breakfast) and use the supplies there. When I asked for help at the reception, they were helpful and nice. The location is great, close to the lake and geothermal area.

When I arrived there was a lot of snow which made parking a bit difficult - not their fault! Still the parking directly in front of the building was a bit narrow, but managable.

The breakfast was really good. And the location is great.

This felt more like a hostel than a guesthouse. They don't let you check in until after 5 pm and then we had to check out by 10 am. The staff seemed young and inexperienced and weren't good communicators when we checked in as to which room was ours and how things operate there. After guests cooked in the kitchen outside our room it stank. The bathroom floors were dirty and it just had a run down feel to everything. For the experience, the price was too high.
