Restaurant unfassbar gut - leckeres, wenn auch überteuertes Frühstück - gute Lage - Nordlicht-Wake-up-Calls - Möglichkeit, viele Aktivitäten rabattiert zu buchen.

Leider hatten wir uns von dem Hotel viel versprochen und wurden stark enttäuscht. Die Zimmer entsprechen nicht den Bildern bei Booking: extrem klein und dunkel, keine Ablagemöglicheiten, ohne Upgrade, zu dem man penetrant per E-Mail und bei Booking aufgefordert wird keine richtige Aussicht aus dem Zimmer, unser Zimmer war nicht gut geputzt und es lagen Haare von vorherigen Gästen im Bad - 2 von 3 Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr unhöflich und kurz angebunden - das Frühstück war als wir nach einer großen Reisegruppe, mehr als eine Stunde vor Schließung des Buffets ankamen, komplett leer gefegt und wurde auch nicht mehr aufgefüllt, der Kaffe hatte fast die Farbe von Wasser, und das, obwohl man für das Frühstück stolze 4000 ISK pro Person bezahlt.

A little below my expectations. Try as I may I couldn't connect to the main wi fi and had to settle for a limited "guest" connection. I found the facilities adequate but not outstanding for a 4 star hotel.

Hotel davvero ineccepibile. Pulito, moderno e con uno staff premuroso e disponibile. Consigliato in ogni suo punto, anche il ristorante promosso a pieni voti! Da non perdere, davvero consigliato! :))

La chambre était spacieuse, les produits à disposition pour la douche de qualité et les services proposés étaient sur mesure. Ils ont été de bons conseils également pour les visites et les activités. La personne à l’accueil était vraiment très gentille.

The rooms were nice and came with a fan to help cool things off. It is also in a great location for the Myvatn area. The breakfast was awesome.

The room was definitely very warm. It was also busy with a bus-load of tourists. And for breakfast, they played the same song on repeat the whole morning. "El Bien" by Viva Suecia. 6 times. Then we had to leave.

Good location and the bistro across the car park has great food.

The rooms are definitely smaller than depicted in the photos. They’re also hot, we had to crack a window and even then we weren’t sleeping with the doonas on. Being able to change the room temps would be great.

Room was very clean and definitely upscale. Bathroom facilities were excellent. The dining room and bar area were quite good. And we also enjoyed the hot tubs.

Room was very small with no place to hold our suitcases. There was only one chair and no desk to put a laptop on or other small personal items.

We booked here very last minute and they fortunately had space for us. Check in was very easy and the front desk staff was very informative. The decor of this hotel was unique and I really enjoyed it!

Great location, just a few steps from the lake. The hotel felt as if it was recently renovated. We loved the decoration and style. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though the room was not very big, we were comfortable. Food was great.

The hotel is really great, comfortable and new. Super clean and the sofa bed was great. We eat at the restaurant and it was one of our best meals in Iceland.

Outstanding facilities and atmosphere!

Room and bathroom very nicely decorated - felt cosy and warm. Also appreciated L’occitane products in bathroom. Restaurant also had great ambience. Location to local attractions good.

Room was a little bit small and could have been a bigger choice on restaurant menu for dinner. Toilet was also a bit too noisy in room.

Staff is very helpful.
