This is a lovely place to stay in Shangri-la. It is very close to the old town. The hostess, I think her name was Mary, was so kind and helpful. She was very responsive to my messages on Booking.com, prior to my arrival. She organised a driver to collect me from the airport. Her cooked breakfast that I enjoyed each morning was very tasty. She fixed my health code on my phone, which would not work properly, at first. My room was very clean and comfortable. My room was upgraded and had a lovely view across to the old town. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very clean, much better than I expected, there were many beautiful flowers in the garden, the owners were very kind and invited me to have hot pot with them, it was a very pleasant experience！

These people were great, they were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Mary is so friendly and helpful. She made the difference in our trip through Shangri-la, helping us to organize transport, recommending restaurants, hotels and sights! The property is cozy, clean and has a pretty rose garden. It is 10 mins walk to the old town. Book here and don't think twice!

We stayed in the highest room on the 3rd floor which had a private outside terrace area (garden view room, I think was the name). We had a view of the mountains and the huge prayer wheel. The room was perfect, very comfortable bed and lovely hot shower. It is like a private cabin with many windows to look at the views. The electrical sockets can’t take much power- 5 minutes to dry your hair! Also as with many places in China, toilet paper can’t be flushed down the toilet. It is located at the top of a hill and they have a dog for security (if you are scared of dogs be aware, but it only barks). 5 minutes walk to the town. Mary was exceptionally helpful and gave us great recommendations for dinner and things to do in the town. I would definitely stay here again!

Mary was very helpful and always available even to the point of keeping Wechat contact. Also able to communicate in English. Gave helpful information with a smile and made good western breakfast. A place that we would return to in a heartbeat.
