The rooms were spacious and tastefully furnished. The cleanliness was exceptional, as my wife promptly noted. The staff exhibited remarkable expertise right from our first encounter.

Great hospitality - you feel like at home. The host speaks English. Clean rooms. Parking place available. Placed in Schwarzwald, at the same time it's been a base for us for visiting various places: Zurich, Strasbourg, Rhine falls, Rulantica Park, Lake Constance. Breakfast included. Kitchen available.

The place was nice and clean. Room was spacey and with a cute kitchenette and a nice terrace. It is a family-run pension. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the host gave us great suggestions about what to see in the area. Breakfast was fulfilling and the service was personal and super. Great value for money. Family friendly. Would recommend for anyone and will definitely make it back one day.

We were visiting family down the street and it was perfectly located for that. We didn't really explore the area much, as it wasn't part of the plan, but it was very nice and quiet, has a supermarket and bakery close by. When we checked in, she noted they were giving us a bigger room than the one we booked, which we appreciated very much. Ours had a balcony. The beds were very comfortable. The place was big and spacious. Nice comfortable sofa. The bathroom was also nice and big. Everything was very clean. Must be really nice in winter (very cozy, lots of carpets!)

The washing machine is from 1958 (had to look it up to understand how to use it!). It sadly didn't work. It ended up repeating the same cycle 3 times, wasting water, electricity and discolouring all of our clothes, with is truly regrettable :(. There's no dryer but a provided shared space in the terrace to dry your clothes, which we didn't find practical, so we dried everything inside or on the chairs of our private balcony. I think this could easily be improved by having a clothesline out in the balcony. The washing machine should be replaced or removed. The curtain of the bathtub unfolds to close (it's more like a door) but doesn't close entirely, so you have to shower WITH it :D, but that probably was just our room.
