The location is amazing and the house is beautiful - rooms are nicely done with antique furniture and curios. Cutaway and secluded, it offers much serenity. The pool was the highlight of this property. Staff were helpful.

Terra Rosa is not a functioning villa. It felt like the property stays shut mostly and only opens up when there are rare guests. I was disappointed because: 1) The house was not clean and our use of common areas indoors was limited. In spite of requesting the host for a thorough cleaning (I am allergic to dust), there were layers of dust on the bedpost, lampshades and some of the furniture in the room and elsewhere. It's an old house lacking in proper maintenance and upkeep. 2) Kitchen was unkempt and not fully functional as claimed. There was no kettle or coffee machine either. Tea mugs in which we were served were dirty, they had black stains. 3) Breakfast was not good. Something as basic as omelette wasn't done properly. There was no cook and the housekeeper doubled up as a chef. We skipped breakfast on the second day. 4) There was almost no communication from the property until we reached out to them a day before our arrival. The villa didn’t seem ready to welcome guests. The repair work was happening during our stay. 5) The swimming pool wasn’t cleaned either, we used it anyway. 6) A/C in our room was not working, however, we were shifted to another room. 7) WiFi is an issue and there is no mobile network For a property that charges premium rates, this villa stay was a letdown.

lovely villa in the middle of a quiet, quaint island in Goa. serene surroundings and lovely birds around.. helpful staff, but transport within island is a problem (can't rent a two-wheeler on Chorao). nice bedrooms, lovely library with a selection of board games (some missing dice though :) All of us found something to read and I couldn't complete my book so hope to go back for that! Swimming pool was nice but could only use it on second or third day as it wasn't clean initially. It was a major reason for the property to be picked by our young one

wi-fi was only available in the living room and there was no network in the bedroom. wish we were informed upfront about limited wi-fi. There are no real restaurants to choose from, so dining options are a problem. again, wish this was a bit more clear at the time of booking. a frog shared the bathroom with us (was funny at times, but a bit creepy and avoidable)

Beautiful villa, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Friendly and responsive staff.

Location was extremely remote with nothing close by.
