Stunning panorama towards the Bay of Kotor. Even if the roads are narrow as the ear of a needle, it worths the effort to get there. The interior is decorated with good taste and the apartment is equipped with everything you could need. Since the weather was hotter than expected, the pool in the back was a blessing. Figs and limes make the stay delicious, but be careful of cacti 🤭 The host, Anna, is not only a delightful appearance but a responsive and helpful host. We will come back for sure. 🤗

Apartment is wonderful! Guests are great people, very kind and we spent really great time there. I recommend everyone this property if you are planning trip to Boka bay, because is well connected with other places there, especially Perast city.

Apartment is very spacious, comfortable and very nicely designed with a great sense for details. It has everything you need for a vacation including very good Wi-Fi. The layout of the apartment provided natural air flow, so it was pleasant inside even during very hot days in August. We spent a great deal of time on the apartment terrace which was just a perfect spot to relax and enjoy beautiful view over Boka bay. Swimming pool area was very nice and our kids loved it. Everybody in Castello Risano was very friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made our stay truly great.

Apartment building is located on a hill with a steep road leading to it. Having in mind this is quite common in Montenegro, we were prepared for a bit of a hard walking. However, this is a small price to pay for a beautiful view from apartment's terrace.

Apartment was true to photos, and in general it was what we were hoping for, quiet location, free parking, spacious, ground floor, beautiful terrace with spectacular views, private, with nearby area to take our dogs for a short walk, pool which due to bad weather and our early stay in middle May was not in function on arrival, but was a few days later. Suggestion maybe to install heating for the pool, as water too cold to really enjoy it fully. Apartment is nicely furnished, and tile floor is very practical especially for dog owners, and its easy to keep clean.

The road leading to the house is not for the faint-hearted, mind you I know this is not the owner's fault, or anyone else, it's just the small villages and their architecture, uphill stone-paved road very narrow, but just fyi to be aware. General cleanliness should def be improved, the kitchen is very small, insufficiently equipped, lucky we never planned to do any serious cooking, but even for a minimum use it's not OK(1 dishtowel, very small pots, had to ask for normal size pot), also for bathroom only 2 large and 2 small towels for 7-day stay and minimum toilet paper, but we were given more when we asked the host Sneza, and host Sneza was very efficient and polite, solved the nonworking TV in record time, same day of arrival. So hopefully they can improve these few things, as apartment has the potential for better review score.

It’s great, the pool is nice and pleasant, the room is spacious and clean, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every need.

It’s a steep walk from the beach, but not too far away. It is often like that in Montenegro.

Broken (missing ) doors in the shower cabin, the shower head must be held with your hand , there is no hook, the bed linen washed after the guests are waiting for new guests to dry on the dusty railings of the balconies of the villa, the garbage must be taken out independently ( 4 star hotel ) every day to the landfill located 300 m from the villa . Broken oven ( old electric stove) . Old, washed towels . Everything must be washed by yourself . Or 35 euro room cleaning with linen change . The area of the apartments is considered together with the huge balconies, divide by two . The sea view is limited by a hospital of the last century and a destroyed hotel from the time of Yugoslavia . for such money, 110-140 euros / day in the season, you can find a much better offer in Montenegro . By an order of magnitude . We have a family vacation every year and we can compare it . Result. Two-star villa

The apartment Was designed with great taste, it's got a beautiful view, everything was just perfect.

Very spacious, great view, fast internet (worked remotely from here), tasteful interior, esp. considering the region! The host was also super supportive, responsive and friendly, helping us with any general questions we had right away.

To be clear, we loved everything and would come again! Were only missing some basic cleaning tools (vacuum cleaner, broom, etc) to keep the apartment clean ourselves as we stayed for a bit longer.

Everything was just great. Pool was perfect and very clean. Wifi worked perfecly inside and outside by the pool. Speed of Internet connection was above that you usually could get in any kind of hotel - superb! Having two bathrooms and one restroom was really convenient. Basically everything was great. I don't know if it's possible to find more comofrtable apartament for the money in the Risan/Kotor area. I'd like to send big thanks to Anna - our dear host! She was amazing. At the beginning she gave us all the information we wanted about interesting things to see in Montenegro. But she gave us also something extra - one day she took us for a private boat trip! It was amazing time! Also I'd like to thank very nice lady who helps Anna on the daily basis to maintain the property. Sadly I forgot the her name :(

We had two-level apartament called "Mint" (as far as I recall). Kitchen could be bigger and more "modern". Especially lack of washing machine caused a little discomfort - but if you don't cook you can live with it. Kitchen was also rather small - not for "big cooking". Shower cubicle was really tight - especially when you're a bigger person.

Spectacular views from both balconies (on the Kotor bay on one side and the swimming pool and the mountains on the other), very spacious, AC in every room, swimming pool refreshing!

It was not aa clean as I woudl expect for this standard.

Really great location. Quiet place, best view in town, lovely old street with bakery leading up to the house. The owner was really helpful and friendly, and we really liked the apartment - great when travelling with 3 kids.

We generally really liked the place. However it was a bit difficult to get to - no road names and fairly difficult to drive to from downtown, as the road was a bit scary - winding and not much space for cars going the opposite way.
