- Das Personal war wirklich ungemein freundlich, egal wen man angetroffen hat! - Auch, wenn der Safe vorerst nicht reparabel war, so wurde es durch die Mühen und Entschädigungen vergessen gemacht. - Die Lage ist wirklich sehr zentral und doch recht ruhig! Bis auf ein paar 'Nachbarn' hört man nichts vom Straßenverkehr.

Apparently an extra city tax had been levied since my booking, so I had to pay more than I was told by booking.com. I do not like this kind of surprise.

beds a little small

The young man at check in was great, spoke very good English which helped me as a very poor German speaker. Room was good, beds were very comfortable and location was fine, a short walk into the City centre.

Nothing I didn't like

Nice, very nice rooms. Clean, spatious. The hotel is close to tram and city centre. Really good hotel. Staff was nice, except for the bad experience on arrival. If the price is good, you should try.

On arrival, reception was terrible. Instead of a welcome salut, the person in charge was angry, unpolite. It was the worst experience I had arriving in a hotel. The lady wanted us to have read the recent messages they had sent on booking, but I was driving! Well, they close reception at 8pm. I had not noticed. We arrived, by coincidence, at 8 o'clock sharp. So, shouldn't be a big issue. She was frustrated and put all her misery over us. Of course, if happened to be closed, I would turn to my emails and messages, and would find instructions for self check-in. It was useless to argue with us and start a fight! She had tried to call, but my Brazilian number was down, just WhatsApp and Telegram available. I'm sorry for not paying attention. But, when you are in the business of tourism, hotel and hosting, you should know that people are moving around, and communication can fail.
